Monday 27th May 2002, I got up, dressed and managed to get to Rugeley train station just in time for the 2.20pm train to Birmingham to meet Jane (Janiac) who was driving us to Heathrow airport to meet Wheatus We figured it would take quite a while to get to Heathrow but we ended up getting there at 5.30pm - 2 and a half hours early!
We managed to find our way into the airport, wondered round a bit and then sat waiting for Flick & Sam who eventually arrived at just gone 7pm.
The guys flight was getting in a bit earlier than excpected so after about an hour of jane waving her homemade choccie brownies around trying to make ppl eat them, flick and sam playing guitar and us standing round talking to Rob, the guys finally arrived.
It was cool to see them again and im pleased to say that Brendan has shaved his beard off, hes also got stitches in his hand where he "sliced it open with a trumpet" ?!! We got piccies and spoke to them for a while and then Brendan realised that everyone was wondering off without him and asked us to go with them to wait for their cars to come pick them up, as we were walking off Kathryn turned round to speak to Brendan and realised that he'd left his case behind! (And people think Petes the stupid one!)
We waited outside and spoke to them a bit more and then it was time for them to go, we got hugs and said bye and Brendan thanked us for coming and then they were gone.
Me and Jane said bye to Flick and Sam and Flicks friends Wendy and Gareth and it was time to drive back home. *i dont remember much about this part coz i think i fell asleep!*
Jane dropped me off at New Street Station and i got to the platform just as the 10.26 train was leaving so i hung around for the 11.13pm train, spoke to Flick on the phone, got laughed at hysterically by the train ticket guy coz his wife likes bagpuss (or something like that, i tend not to take much notice of what people are saying when theyve burst out in laughter as soon as they see me!!) and i eventually got home @ just gone midnight.
It was cool to see some frogs again, Jemma and Char were there too but we didnt really speak to them...
