woah! what a day! but ill start at the begining so it makes sense.
i met gemma at around 1.30, and we arrived at the birmingham academy at 2.45ish, we were just gonna go c something, but there was already a cue! there was about 30 or so, i think, anyways, we couldnt then leave, so we had to do shift with some fo my friends from church who came, and almost died of boredom while waiting! our legs were killing us, and we hadnt even got it! there were so many wannabes there, but only one (as far as i couild see) looki-likie! she was almost identical, facial features and everything! the last hour before being allowed in was the killer! anyway, we were in, and then came our lady peace, they were the best support band ive seen yet
virtually as soon as the went off, everyone surged forward trying to get to the front, after 5 hours waiting, noone was getting past! it was very crushing, and several people did pass out and stuff, it was like a mob!
avril was excellent. no other word for it. at two seperate points, people got on stage passed the security and hugged avril and stuff, and it was funny watching the security chasing them!
during complicated, she got this girl with a massive red mohican, and a guy up to hep her sing, was also good! throughout, people kept surging and crushing us, and when avril left, before the encore, everyone did again, and was shouting and chanting, very scary! excellent show, and my pics (if they come out) will be on my website monday hopefully! next stop, the charlotte and wheatus!
