You’re a bit miffed at the loss of your mp3’s. And while this would be a good excuse to forget about the paper and do something less constructive, you decide to keep at the paper. It’s due tomorrow after all. You begin to think about a good opening sentence. You type the word “The” when Windows95 crashes and causes a picture of Bill Gates to come onto the screen with “Your computer has done a bad thing. A very, VERY bad thing. The Microsoft SS has been dispatched to your house. You will let them in and follow their instructions.” You reply to your monitor as if it can hear you, “HA! Like I used my real name on the identification screen! And the address I gave them was my parents’! I’ve outsmarted you, Herr Gates!”
