Mike Perhach converted a 1/16th scale Peterbilt 359 into a 379

Mike's 1/16th 359 to a 379 gave me the idea to try it in smaller scale

Tim Ahlborn (your friendly Plastic Cowboy webmaster) built this AMT Peterbilt. It started as the AMT-Ertl Pete 359. I reworked the cab, hood, fenders, added spar parts from a Revell "Can-Do" wrecker kit, and came up with cosmetically similar modern 379!

With some work, the AMT kit can look like a 379, add a modern resin engine, or kit bash from an Italeri kit, and you're doing even better!
