Chang Wufei

Alias:  Solitary Dragon

Age:  15

Weight (kg):  46

Height (cm):  156

Eyes:  Black

Hair:  Black

Gender:  Male

Ethnic: Chinese

Organization:  Resistance

Place Of Birth:  L5 Colony (December 12 AC 180)

Mentor/Relatives:  Once had a wife, Meiran. Trained by Master O.

Subordinates:

Distinctive Features:  Wears white Tang dynasty Chinese style clothing. Hair is gathered in a ponytail at the scruff of his neck.

Ability/Specialty:  Can instinctively decide who is the enemy, once confirmed he will attack relentlessly.

Personality:  Seems sexist but also tends to be very protective of the weak and all he thinks is weak. He is out to get justice for the colonies and humanity. Arrogant because of pride in his bloodline and self-esteem, cannot stand to lose. Tends to work alone and fights bravely. Outside of the battle, he is quiet. Once in a while he tends to do things spontaneously. Wufei is the descendant of a legendary Chinese warrior clan, who sent him to Earth to fight against Oz. This proud fighter lives by a strict code of honor, punishing evil and enforcing justice as he sees fit. Wufei prefers to operate solo, since he has little patience for lesser warriors. These high standards make him equally contemptuous of his own failings in battle. The only ally he trusts is his Shen-Long Gundam, which he has nicknamed "Nataku" after a hero of Chinese mythology.

Gundam:  Shen-Long (Nataku), Altron, Auto-Long

Character Flaw:  Is too focused on justice.

Death:

Our Thoughts @ Midnight Wing:  Wufei tends to know what's going on better than the other pilots most of the time. He is independent and free. His style is to fight alone and his own way. He will not take orders from anyone unless he believes them to be in his best interest. White Fang used his fight for justice against him but like all politics it only showed half the story. White Fang painted him as only fighting against the colonies, in truth he was basically just destroying all weapons in space as a way to get peace and end meaningless battles.

I think he is not as sexist as he might appear. With his past I think he is trying to keep his past from repeating itself. I get this idea because of how tolerant he is of Sally once he fights with her.

The death of Treize and his realization that he was wrong about Treize cracked him.
