Wendy Lyn 'Wendy Lyn'

'Wendy Lyn' has very interesting flowers, though they do not last long. The flowers you see here are newly opened. After a while, the red fades into the center of the flower, and they appear to be dark pink. The plant does not seem to be hardy, and gets winter leaf burn each year for me, ever since I purchased it at the ARS Ann Arbor chapter's plant sale in Spring, 1999.

UPDATE May, 2001: I decided that with all its problems, this one had to go, and a rhododendron club member from Muskegon or Kalamazoo took it off my hands.
