Click here to see how I grow these. Opuntia polyacantha, chartreuse-flowered form

This plant was purchased and planted around October, 1995, and has been there ever since. It has been completely hardy here. It is not a pretty plant, but the flowers have a unique chartreuse color. This plant may be a Claude Barr selection, and 'Chartreuse' may in fact be a cultivar or clone name.

This plant came from the Michigan Cactus and Succulent Society's plant sale. This is a great source of cuttings and potted plants.
