Allison Snider walked through the overcrowded school halls as she did everyday. While conversations unfolded and gossip spread around her, Allison was in her own lonely world. Her eyes were fixed on her shiney black shoes as her scrawny arms were clasped tightly around her books, which were pulled to her chest.
She looked up momentarily and caught the eye of Destiny Allen, the most popular girl in school. She walked hand-in-hand with her boyfriend, Seth. Destiny's eyes gazed her up and down. Allison saw her in the hallway everyday with her many friends, talking aobut the latest parties. All Allison had was an empty life. Allison swallowed hard and looked back at her shiney black shoes.

Destiny Allen walked the halls half aware of the high school drama that unfolded around her. Her fingers were unconsiously linked with Seth's. They'd been going out for 8 miserable months. It was a shallow relationship built on social standings.
She looked up and caught Allison Snider, the smartest gir in school, gazing her up and down. Her arms were, like always, wrapped around books Destiny would probably never understand. Destiny watched Allison get A+ after A+ without even trying. All Destiny had was an empty life. She swallowed hard and stared back into the blurry space infront of her.
