FESTIVA FESTIVAL 2000

Well, the first (hopefully annual) Festiva Festival was great. There were about 10 cars plus the 2 racecars, and about 20 people all together that at least stopped by Saturday, and Sunday. It was a blast, and definately something you won't want to miss next time. I know I won't. It was a weekend full of racing, Festivas, food, and fun. The touring laps were awesome, and definately made the whole trip worth it just for those. A lot of cool Festivas there including the Project GTX car from Festiva Motrosport. Well, it was good meeting everyone, and hopefully we'll all eventually meet, maybe even at the next one. For now, here are some pics and videos of some of the fun we had at the Festival.

Here's Ben Horste and his Champion SOLO car.
Ben Inman, and RAW POWER II. Gotta see the night shot.
Roger and friend from Festiva Motorsport with the Project GTX car.
Donald came all the way from Maryland with his sweet ride. You have got to see his cornering pic.
Me and my ultra black '93.
Jerry and his clean red GL Sport came from Northville.
Tim and his Fast-iva take a minute to pose with Ben before hittin' the track.
Sweet blue ride from IL.
Look at the rims on this beauty.
A lot of wiring went into this car, but the finished product is illuminating.(Not like Raw Power II though I'm afraid)
Nothing like a father son Festiva day to bring that bond closer.
Here's the other Festiva racer that ran. Nice paint job.
Here's a couple action shots of Tim and his racer.
Check out some mean cornering from the touring laps.
Here's a group shot especially for Richard.
Here's another group shot on the track.
Check out the sweet dash in Tim's racer.
Here's a shot of RAW POWER II at night.
Here's a short clip of RAW POWER II at night.
Here's a longer clip of a couple corners on one of the touring laps.
Here's a clip of the Fire-stiva zipping by during qualifying.
Here's a clip of Tim's car zipping by much faster in the same qualifying race.
Here's a shot of Tim coming around a turn mean and low. No body roll. Then he takes a straightaway, and into another turn.
Here's a clip of Tim coming into the pits after the qualifying race.
