The United States Government Collapses
by Daniel Andrews
This past week, following the slaughter at Greenway
Park,
the people have risen up to take back their government.
The destruction of Congress signaled the fall of the
US
government. The reaction of the US people should
stand
them proud. We have shown the world that we
are quite
capable of working together to both formulate and
achieve
our goals without some authority to guide us along
and make
our decisions for us. And nobody is more surprised
than
we, ourselves, at how quickly we did organize and
how
efficient we were. Of course, the militias would
like to take
most of the credit--and control--but they played a
minor
role compared to the neighborhood troops which formed
virtually overnight.
Throughout the United States neighbors banded together,
coordinated with other groups, and began a campaign
against
the government and state troops which were invading
their
towns and threatening their families. Many soldiers
were
persuaded to lay down their weapons at the onset,
and more
did so as events progressed. There was, in effect,
a major
defection in the army and what was once one army now
became
two armies battling each other. Things were
very chaotic until the
opposing armies had coalesced, the people’s army and
the loyalists.
At the same time as the military became divided, the
government
itself was crippled in a most savage way. Congress
was meeting
in an emergency session as some members in both bodies
sought
a way to peacefully resolve the entire situation.
While they were
meeting, according to the official reports, terrorists
suddenly
materialized to lob several hand grenades into the
House of
Representatives. The official report makes no
attempt to explain
how the terrorists made it through all of the guards
stationed around
the congressional dome without even being noticed,
nor how they
disappeared again.
After Greenway Park, this was the last event necessary
to make
the people of the US realize that not only had they
lost control
of their government long ago, but that the government
was truly
their opponent and did not care what became of them
so long
as work got done and authority was respected.
Making this
realization, everyone rose up and took their mandate
back from
the government, and from the money behind the government.
The power of property and money has destroyed this
country
and is destroying the entire world. Once they
had been awakened
to this, the people could not permit it to go on.
After the bombing
of the House and the loss of their mandate, the president
and the
remaining loyalists of either party became obvious
puppets of the
industrial-military complex, valuable only in their
appearance as
former heads of government. From this point
on, the war resolved
into a class struggle.
The ruling class had by this time fled to distant lands.
Now they
encouraged other countries, principally Britain, to
offer aid to the
United States government. Once again, however,
the ruling class
has failed to take into account the working class,
who have been
oppressed worldwide by global capitalism. No
sooner did the
Prime Minister offer aid to the United States government,
than the
people of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales rose
up to liberate
their lives and livelihoods. And from that point
the entire globe went
up in a conflagration.
While the last century was marked by global wars over
power and
dominance, this century is now marked by global revolution
for
freedom and democracy. Global capitalism has
been met by the
common people of the world; the owning class have
come under
attack on all fronts, as all over the world people
have risen up to
expropriate the means of production. And, as
the people take control
of their livelihood, the armies of the rich attempt
to overrun them.
In the United States, the Pentagon only remained in
operation,
functioning behind a ring of tanks and troops.
And they were
beginning to slowly pull stakes and move to more secure
quarters
in the Rocky Mountains. When mass expropriations
began in the
United States, armored troops were sent out to take
back the factories,
the farms, and the cities. But these troops
were met by the people
and by the people’s army. Rather than allow
the people to take
control of their means of livelihood, bombing raids
were launched to
destroy the contended property and the contenders.
Thursday morning, the first bombing raids were launched
against
the city of New York and factories and towns scattered
throughout
southeast Michigan and in the Puget Sound. The
intention was
obvious, and the people’s army responded with all
of the might
that it had managed to expropriate. It flew
bombing runs of its
own against the Pentagon, the loyalists’ Rocky Mountain
bases,
and various other targets. The strikes were
unexpectedly effective,
and the command structure of the loyalist army was
broken. The
evacuation of the pentagon having only just begun,
the centralized
command was caught with its pants down. Without
it’s command
center, the loyalists’ army has fallen apart and the
people appear to
have succeeded in their liberation. The people’s
army is moving
quickly to see that the nuclear capabilities of the
loyalists are disarmed.
And so the political and military apparatus of this
country have fallen
to direct democracy, but the war is not over yet.
The rich have fled
and capitalism is collapsing throughout the world.
Yet we dare not
rest until capitalism is stamped out completely and
thoroughly from
every corner of this planet. Otherwise, it will
someday grow to
threaten us again.
