[SOLARIS] The honor to join SOLARIS is held by very few individuals. Each man or woman is taken from their mother's side at an early age to join the ranks of SOLARIS. It is considered a great honor to the family to have their son or daughter join, and each child is given willingly. They are chosen because they are "marked" in some way or another. They are taught to fight their second day in the camp of the knights. They either learn to fight or they die. Within several months, each "infant" as they are called, is a master of several different types of weapons. Finally, after their physical training has progressed to a level that is respected across the realms, they begin their spiritual training. It is here that they are taught what it truly means to be a member of SOLARIS. The members of SOLARIS are a very dedicated. While they do not pray to any particular god or goddess, they meditate almost constantly. The effect of such devout meditation is the ability to see the truth in others. It is prophecy in SOLARIS that Good will prevail over Evil, because of this, they will seek to bring evil back to its true path in life, or be destroyed. They know that the destiny of the world is to be united in a blanket of peace and harmony, and they will be the facilitators of that peace. Although they are fierce fighters, they know that good deeds will help their cause more than the destruction of all evil. They, more than anyone else, know that evil lurks within us all. It is their supreme control over their mind and bodies that allow them to remain good and true to themselves. They believe that they must help you along your path to righteousness, lest you be overcome by the shadows of evil. If that happens, there is no hope but to save your soul and destroy you.
