All right, this IS a little like the secrets, but tips and secrets do have their differences, don't they...? But anyway, I think that the tips deserves it's own section, and after all of this babbling, keep reading on, because here it is!
TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE
Do you believe in Time being on your side? Well, obviously, the Post Man in Majora's Mask does! Find him in his house after his second route, and he'll ask you to time 10 seconds...MENTALLY. If you get it right, the good 'ol Post Man'll be nice enough to bless you with A Piece of Heart (wouldn't it be nice if he would give you an extra day for being kind enough to tell him when 10 seconds were up?)
NOT TOO FRIENDLY!
The people in the town that you are in as DekuNuts Link are not very fond of Deku Scrubs and other related animals, as you can tell from how rude they are! However, you can get the kid that is blocking the obersvatory to give you his journal by talking to him as HUMAN LINK.
You can get a bottle from one of the Witch Sisters who works in ths shop outside of the Lost Woods, located near the lake, south of the Clock Town.On Day two, at around *06:00 (* means the morning) she will leave her shop, and you can talk to her while she's flying in the wood. She will give you a potion, which you must give to her injured sister, deeper in the woods. When you give it to the sister, the potion will be gone--but the bottle will still be there, and you can use it for your own purposes.

There will be a tiny, little monkey (they happen to be very cute) that will guide you on your way through the Lost Woods on the first two days...
