Thanks for stopping by. This is basically a journal, where you can learn more about me and my family. It won't be written every day, but you can read some of it. Today is July 25th, 1999. It's 12:59 p.m right now. Soon to be one o'clock. I live in Michigan, and I go to an elementary school. I'm going to the sixth grade, and I'm getting older. (No!!!!!) Like everyone, you see little kids and think 'God, I'm getting old!' Today my aunt, uncle and cousin are coming from Lansing to visit. We rarely ever see them, since we are about two hours away from them. Its fun to see my aunt, because she likes to bead things like me. My aunt is Sheilah, my uncle is Jeff, and my cousin is Barbie. (She dates a guy named Ken. And her little sister's name is Kelly!) Anyhow, its 1:04, and it took me only a few minutes to write this. See ya soon! JKA- MY INITIALS. or Zelda 31.
Welcome! Today is August 1, 1999. Yesterday I was gone at my grandparents 50th anniversary at the Sveden House. Tomorrow, I'm going to the beach. (I love the beach!) Although I hate red skin after going to the beach. (Sun burn) So part of the trip I enjoy and the other half- I hate it!
Welcome to JKA'S Journal! Once again! Today I'm preparing to go to the beach. Although I can swim fairly well, like I mentioned yesterday, I hate getting sun burnt and I hate the drift wood that gets in my hair! Once I had to wash my hair twenty times to get wood chips out of my head! It really wasn't worth it. But I love going to the beach, its nice getting away from the house for a day. And when I have to leave the beach, I hurry up and get done swimming for the day. Well, adios, people! August 2, 1999.
It's October 29, 1999. It's Friday, and I'm not at school. Why? I feel like crap. I know that later on today or tomorrow I'll be sitting on the couch with a big stack of books and papers and pencils. I'll also be doing my Math test. (I know, I'm going to ace it.) I'm improving my site while I'm at home, and changing all of the backgrounds black. RDA, aka Ryan, The Raisin Man, and many other names, sometimes gets on my nerves. I saw his report card- what does he have? All A's. Ryan is funny, and sometimes he annoys me. I kind of think my brother is mentally retarded. He looks like an ape...(hopefully he won't see that) and he's a giant! Good thing I have my little brother repellent...hehehe
Come back soon! Please? Please e-mail me, too. It really helps.
November 26, 1999:
So, who had a good Thanksgiving? I did...a day full of playing pool...seriously, pool isn't my bag, baby. I don't know why but I prefer Basketball and Soccer more. For homework this week, I had to send my teacher a letter (to her home, not the school) telling about my Thanksgiving. Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time to think about Christmas. 'Tis the season to be jolly, after all. Well, I'll see you again soon!
December 16, 1999:
Tomorrow, at least for me, is the last day of school for two weeks. Imagine, two weeks... don't think in lasts too long, because one second you're coming home from school and the next you're going back to school! I know my updates aren't much, but I've been pretty busy. I know that I promised to update daily, but now its just not possible to do that anymore. In the summer I promise...seriously, PROMISE you that I will update daily. No buts about it. For the next three days I may not be on the computer at all, because I have relatives coming from out of town for three days. Believe me, its not fun with little bratty 2nd cousins that think you're a toy. Anyway, I'll be here probably on Sunday evening or Monday at around 5:00 P.M Eastern Time. Also, I hope you have a Holy Jolly Christmas! And a Happy New Year! (It won't be too happy...Y2K!)
March 14,2000: Yeah, I know its been a long time since I've updated this section, but I've been busy. Yesterday was a great day at school, too. It started out pretty bad when kids were making fun of my height (what's new? Their evil)! But it ended up pretty good when the boy I like referred to me a "pretty cool." Looks like a new path had opened up for me, A new route in life! Stay tuned, guys. I've gotta run, But I PROMISE you a lot more updates here, and in all of the other sections! Bye! April 7th: Okay, this has been a kind of really busy week. I know, I know, "where has Jenny been?" I know I'm not the one to keep up on my promises, but I try to update as often as possible. Sometimes, there's just nothing to update, period. I hate just a site with no Fan Stuff, that doesn't allow the fans to really get into it. I like my site's fans to be able to roam around the site and enjoy themselves, and keep coming back for me.
Today has been a particularly busy day. I woke up at around 9:00 A.M., and boy was I happy that I didn't have school today! (School records, that sort of stuff). After that, I helped clean up the house, played my ocarina (just goes to show how obsessed with Zelda I am), and I played my clarinet. Not that the Banana Boat Song and 'My Bonnie Lies over the ocean' are particularly great songs. Aside from that, I'm on-line and I've been playing Zelda just about all morning. Glitches! Oh yes, Glitches! I forgot about those, and have for quite some time. I'm sorry to those that cannot perform these glitches, I can't, either, because I bought my game cartridge in February 1999, and by that point, most of the newer Zelda Games had been fixed. But I disagree with Nintendo. I think Glitches make the game easier for kids that can't beat it, and a lot more exciting, Also. So why did they take away our wonderful, wonderful Glitches? Also, I have some new links. These won't be added to the Links section right away, why not have them here?
The Lost Woods, a great site! Zelda31's credits here: I have some fanfiction, but soon, there may be glitches and other things, and my fanfiction is under the name "Karen."
Zelda without the E! Zelda31's credits here: Editorials, message board posts, (can't really take credit for those). That's...pretty much it. Sorry, guys!
April 19th, 2000: Yesterday ended in tragedy for two people. Near my city, there was a shooting at a sub-urban Detroit High Rise in Lincoln Park. Marilyn Higgins, the aunt of one of my classmates, was fatally wounded in the head. Today, two people are dead, six were injured, and one is in critical condition in the hospital. The senior's citizen shooting took place at around 12 at noon yesterday. Nearby schools were locked-down, and parents had to go to the schools and sign their children out. The shooting was so extensive, it even made cnn.com! Not that I'm proud of that, I'm very disappointed that two people are dead today. You can view the WHOLE story by clicking here
