Rules & Info
1. When you send a breeding request I will need the following info: name, breed, gender, age, color, markings, make/mold/model, owner/stable, requested sire, and requested dam. I will also need to know if you can receive Microsoft Word attachments.
2. If one of the parents is not from Ragtime Acres I will need the following info: name, breed, gender, age, color, markings, make/mold/model, owner/stable, owner's email, and a four generation pedigree.
3. You must follow color gentics. If you are not sure, please ask. The best rule of thumb is to make sure at least one parent is the same color as the foal.
4. Please try to follow naming rules. For info on this visit this site
5. Stallions and mares may not be bred before the age of three.
6. Stallions first foal crop (FFC) and mares open years are listed. I will allow my mares to have twins, but they must be sired by the same stallion. I will also let my mares do embryo transfer if the breed allows it.
7. Be careful of inbreeding. I will not breed any parents to their offspring. I will not breed full or half brothers and sisters, etc.
8. I accept aging, non-aging, and ageless foals.
9. If a foal is non-aging or ageless it will not be given an assigned year of birth.
10. I do accept breeding stock only (BSO) foals and/or parents.
11. At this time I only do email breedings. All breedings are free. I prefer to send the breeding certificates and pedigrees as a Microsoft Word attachment. If this is a problem for you please let me know.
12. Do not send me more than 5 breedings at once. If you do so I will do the first 5 and send the rest back.
13. All pedigrees are from real and/or model horses. Nothing is made up by Ragtime Acres.
14. An ® next to a horse's name means that a real horse was used.
15. Any horses that have pending listed instead of parents are not yet officially available for breeding. But you may still request them so you can reserve that year.
16. If you need help naming a horse let me know. I have a huge list of names.
17. I reserve the right to refuse any breeding for any reason.
