'Season's of Love' by Mark Phillips

Winters chill breath blows across the land
and curtains of ice drape the windows.
Snow falls lazily all around,
freezing as it touches the ground.
But like the fires laid in the hearth,
my love for you will keep us warm.

Seasons change.

Spring blooms and life grows,
rain falls and flowers rise.
A chill breeze, with a remembrance
of Winters passing,
wraps itself around us.
As roses open with beauty and grace,
so, to, does my love for you.

Seasons change.

Summer's heat now rears up high,
temperatures rise and sunlight shimmers
on the horizon.
The shade of trees,
and the coolness of water,
cannot dim the heat of passion
I feel for you.

Seasons change.

Fall begins and color abounds,
leaves turn gold and red.
The air is cooler,
and the world prepares to sleep.
Winter is once again on it's way,

Year after year, the Seasons change.
My love for you does not.
