Above is a shot of my '96 Taurus GL. I finally got a chance to do some actuall work on the car, and update the page. So far I've done some little touches with color matched lock knobs and tire valve caps. Also the short black rubber antenna, and a cheap exhaust tip. Of the more costly and noticeable mods was the window tint, and blacking out the tail lights. Below are some shots of the work so far, and also some shots of our new '98 Windstar. Here's a rear shot of the car with the windows tinted, and the tail lights blacked out. That's 3 coats of Nite Shades spray on tint that I purchased from Jegs.com.
Here's a shot of the tail pipe, rear side marker, and another pic before applying the Nite Shades.
Here's a shot of the front side marker. You can also see the tint in the front windows I did. I did the fronts with a product called Insta Cling I got from Wal-Mart for $12.00. It sticks on via static cling, and can be removed and reused repeatedly. Nice for those of you like me that live in areas where it's not legal to have the fronts tinted.
