Toms & Queens
A few years after sending Grizz to the Heavyside Lair, the Jellicle tribe broke up into three basic groups.
The Gamblers, the Jellicles and the Felines.
Now, the Gamblers are mostly toms, but an occasional queen is seen. They gamble on catnip, and play with dice, for catnip, if the person they are gambling against has no catnip with them, they play with their marker. Catnip is basically money. Though a marker is not just a piece of paper saying: I.O.U 1lbs of Catnip signed Hyper, no! A marker is the one thing a cat cannot welsh on, it’s like not saluting the flag! Most of the Gamblers travel, and try to keep low profiles, though their street names are known quite well.
The Jellicles are mostly queens from the original Jellicle tribe who try constantly to get the Gamblers to join the Jellicles again. As for the Jellicles, a few toms can be seen. These cats are most like missionaries, at least, that’s who I’ve based them on.
The Felines are your average cats. Toms & queens. Most of the Felines though, try to arrest the Gamblers, because Catnip has been outlawed. -Shivers are sent down my kitty spine- Then, there are the HotBox queens. These queens are members of the Feline groups, but they perform at a night club called, yup, you guessed it, the HotBox.
Here are the names of formillar -and possibly unformillar- cats you might have known, that now have to be put into these new groups!
Gamblers:
Tugger Masterson, Munkustrap Detroit, Pouncival Southstreet, Big McCavity, Plato-Lips Louie, Tumblebrutus Max, Growltiger The Horse, Gus Mc.Clauscy’s, Asparagus , Alonzo Nicely, Carbucketty, Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer, and Ademetus Biltmore.
Jellicles:
Victoria, Cassandra Brown, Electra, Exectera and Uncle Bustopher Jones.
Felines:
Lt. Skimbleshanks, Jellylorum, Old Dueteronomy, Jennyanydots, and Exotica.
HotBox:
Bombalurina, Demeter, Hyperistithiainniesbuea, Jemimma, Silabub, and Griddlebone.
Well! Dispite all the changes, I hope you enjoy this story, I have cleverly titled :
