"Philinda married Henry Hodges. Their children were David, Romeo, Alice, Alvira, Minnie and Henry."

"Philinda married Henry Hodges of Eden. Their children were David, Romeo, Alice, Alvina, Minnie and Henry. Minnie will be remembered as a musician who often had large classes in and around here." It seems almost certain that Minnie cannot have been remembered in Leslie. She was born in 1871, about the same time that her mother died. Her father remarried in 1874 and moved to Kansas in 1879. Minnie was in her father's household in Kansas in 1880, and was present there at the death of her step-mother in 1910.
