You may just have stumbled on this site by accident, or you may be a pedophile systematically searching for web porn. Perhaps you're even an alien in a flying saucer, come to learn about primitive earthlings and give them the magic kool-aid. Well, no matter who you are, it's quite likely that there are questions swirling in your mind.
What is the meaning of life? Who will be voted off next time on Survivor? What the heck is Purple Chibi Action Team, anyway?
I can answer only one of those questions for sure, but the answer is kinda depressing. So, I'll make an attempt at explaining to you just what Purple Chibi Action Team (or PCAT for short) is.
PCAT is a comic, or at least it can pass for a comic. If you're the kind of person who likes a well drawn, fully coloured comic with flashy costumes, amazing heros, and clear, uncluttered plotlines, ala DC or Marvel, then you'd better leave. Quickly. If, on the other hand, you don't need a plot as shallow as the Sahara to enjoy a comic, and you can tolerate crap drawing, bad jokes, and a totally convoluted and incomprehensible story, then there's a chance you might enjoy Purple Chibi. Then again, you might not. Who can tell?
Of course, PCAT isn't a comic you can just pick up and read. Well, you probably can, but it won't be as funny. The plot is heavily inspired by (my friends would say 'ripped off from') a lot of other sources. These include a great deal of Japanese Animation (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Those Who Hunt Elves, to name just a few) and games (on consoles, computers, and good ol' pen & paper), plus sometimes stuff that I look at and say "That's Purple Chibi!" All that should explain exactly why half the comic makes no sense whatsoever.
Oh, well, I guess that's about it. I hope you enjoy Purple Chibi, and if you don't, well, the shit WILL hit the fan.
Now, to terminate with the cliché lines seen in so many web-rants.
