UNIFORMS OF THE UNITED NATIONS:

A GUIDE TO THE FASHIONS OF THE FUTURE

1) Standard Uniform

The standard uniform of the U.N. is a green tinted khaki colour, with the colour of the epaulettes and rank insignia indicating the unit of the wearer. High command uniforms are olive green instead of green-khaki.

2) Winter Uniform

The winter uniform of the UN is a white cloak which goes on over the standard uniform during cold, windy, or rainy weather conditions. The colour of epaulettes, rank, and unit insignia are the colour of the wearer's unit.

3) Dress Uniform

The dress uniforms of the UN are made up of an overcoat, bearing the wearer's unit colour, and white dress pants, with black boots. Buttons and braiding are done in gold, except for those of the conventional air force and navy, who have silver buttons and braiding. The rank layout follows that of the standard uniform, except that honours and medals are mandatory, and are worn symbolically over the heart.

4) Summer Uniform

The summer uniform is worn during elevated temperatures or strenuous labour. It consists of a white shirt and kakhi shorts. Rank insignia and epaulettes are the wearer's unit colour, as well as the decorative work of the sneakers (which are velcro, for convenience).
