Dear Goodale Friends,

Originally this started out to be a website for the Goodale Class of '53, which began around Christmas 1999, shortly after several meetings with old classmates, some of which hadn't seen each other in almost 50 years. The whole experience was quite moving for most of us and somehow we wanted to keep the momentum going and extend the experience to former classmates who weren't able attend these on-site reunion events.

Thus the reason for this webpage. The power of the Internet, with its global communications and search abilities had largely brought us together, so why couldn't it be used to continue our reconnections, at least in cyberspace. However, this is still much a work-in- progress, but with a little help, from more contributors, and folks with graphics abilities, this website could gain true respectability.

Additionally, we recently established a Goodale Forum at http://www.delphi.com/goodalealumni which provides nice mesaage boarding capablities, for personal exchanges and queries.A recently added wrinkle is that we now find members of other classes as well who are interested in reconnecting and visiting the old Goodale haunt. We welcome them, and hope that they will generate their own stories to rekindle memories of their times and friendships and we will be glad to incorporate them into this page to help them reconnect as well.

This page is now at https://www.angelfire.com/mi2/goodale/, on a free server which runs a bit SLOWLY. First time, some pages here take minutes to load and may take several visits for all pictures to load successfully. I will try to solve this problem and will also provide this content to those interested (particularly in the slideshows) on CD ROM, which runs much more quickly.
