Label: Warner Brothers Records Info: The latest discovery by Chris Stokes, Sec-N-Soul have been performing since the tender age of eight, when they toured the country and recorded a pair of underground albums under the name Loveforce. Their early experience under dicey conditions would prove invaluable as they matured into top-quality performers during their teen years. "Chris taught us how to sing, how to perform, how to behave," recalls L.C. "He turned us into responsible young men and made it fun." "I hope that people see our diversity," says Mark as he speaks about the group's self-titled LP. "We're underground hip-hop, but there's no one midset with us. We appeal to every crowd and we love the ladies." Also spiritually grounded in their approach to life, the fellas often give their thanks to the Creator for their opportunity to perform. "Every day of our lives, we pray that God keeps open the golden path He's set before us," says Richard. Adds Mark, "We keep Him in our hearts and HE keeps us pure."
