Gone are the days of skinny limbs and ribs showin'. The new Immature, oh, pardon me, X Immature, has buff bodies, muscles and a new name to go along with new music. As we gather together for another sit-down, I find myself surrounded by three health conscious guys who are diligently eating Caesar salads and juice rather than the hamburgers and fries that are available around the corner. |

Conforming to a rigorous exercise schedule in order to strengthen their bodies for their reportedly upcoming tour with Destiny's Child, the group members desperately try to control the hunger pangs untill they reach their fitness goal. "So it's egg whites for breakfast, salad for lunch and a little protein and vegetables for dinner," LDB adds. "But Jerome gets to have twice as much protein as Marques and I are served since he's on a different diet."
As we chew slowly, "savoring" every morsel of our diet power lunch, I ask the group about the new name. "We love it," LDB says. "We've been talking about the name change for two years. You've even published our thoughts in Right On!, but one day at a record company meeting, they were kicking around ideas and said instead of calling the group 'I'm Mature,' someone suggested X Immature in an abbreviated form. That name seemed to be the perfect solution, so we changed the spelling to IMx."
