Aquaman. Black Canary. The Flash. Green Lantern. The Martian Manhunter. Finding strength in numbers to thwart tyrannical aliens from the planet Appellax, these five heroes decided to combat evil together on a regular basis. From their "Secret Sanctuary," a cave outside Happy Harbor, Rhode Island, they founded the Justice League of America. Soon joined by the cocky and flamboyant Green Arrow, the team's ranks and legend grew in subsequent years.
