The Minor Regulators
This lists the minor members of the Regulators. Most of these minor members of the Regulators were Hispanic. There are over a dozen other minor Hispanic Regulators that aren't listed here because their names are unknown. Martin Chaves, led a band of about twenty-five Hispanic citizens from the small villages of San Patricio and Picacho, of where Chaves was a highly respected citizen. The Hispanics in Lincoln County, in general, intensely disliked the Murphy-Dolan-Riley faction. Chaves and his band fought as a kind of "back up" for the Regulators. Almost immediately after the Five-Day Battle that ended the war, the Hispanic Regualtors left the group and went back to their own lives. If you have any comments on them or want to know anything more about them, please e-mail me.
