The following are some of My bud Bar's favorite recipes, she promises to send more soon so keep checking back, in the meantime ENJOY!!!

Newfie Trifle
angle food cake

cranberry jello

vanilla pudding

can of fruit cocktail

bananas

whip cream

Drain fruit cocktail really well.  Slice bananas.  Cube up angle food cake and place in a large bowl.  Layer all the ingrediants, it doesn't matter what order as long as the whip cream winds up on top.  EAT

Chicken a la Barbarella Bad Ass
1 whole cut up chicken

1 large can of tomatos

onion

celery

rice (preferably minute cos it's easiest and that's what i use LOL)

salt and pepper

garlic

basil

oregano

You can (I don't always) brown chicken.  Place chicken in pot.  Add tomatos.  Chop up onion, celery.....add.  Add spices.  Cook the hell out of it.  Serve over rice.

Roast a la tender and yummy
Roast Olive oil
This is a really good recipe for not so great cuts of meat, as it will always come out VERY tender and yummy.  It's best to put this on first in the morning as the longer you leave it in the crock pot the more tender it is take a frying pan and turn it on high heat.....coat pan with olive oil....and sear your meat When the meat is seared transfer to a slow cooker (crock pot)...season with garlic, basil, salt, pepper......whatever is on your spice rack....throw in a little water, some onion, potatos, carrots, whatever......put on lid and walk away

Bruchetta
roma tomatos,

olive oil,

garlic,

parsley,

basil,

onion,

green pepper (or red, orange, yellow...doesn't matter),

celery,

salt and pepper,

jalapenos,

tomato paste

this recipe is really easy.....chop up your tomatos, green pepper, onion, jalapenos.  Coat with olive oil, season with your herbs and spices (i like it with lots of basil and garlic).  Add enough tomato paste to thicken.  Stir.  Let sit in fridge for a couple of days before eating.
