This series is about the voyages of the U.S.S. Voyager, NCC-74656. She is under the command of Capt. Katherine Janeway. In the beginning of the series, she was ordered to pursue a ship ran by a group called the Maquis commanded by Chakotay in a place called "The Badlands". Well, both the Maquis and the Voyager end up being sent to the Delta Quadrant by a being called "The Caretaker". For seven years, they have met Neelix (a Talaxian), run into a group called the Kazon, had continuous conflicts with the Borg, made two first contacts with a race that are only known as "Species 8472" from Fluidic Space, and found ways to get closer to home. After seven years in the Delta Quadrant, the crew of U.S.S. Voyager made it home with the help of Admiral Katherine Janeway (from 20 years in the future) and the Borg.
