“Rini! Rini! Where are you, darling?”
Neo-Queen Serenity searched the palace frantically for her daughter.
“Aww, come on Rini, we’re sorry!” Raye apoligized.
“You didn’t ruin my cookies Rini!” Lita tried to convince the small princess. “Really you didn’t!”
Mina sighed. “I hope Luna fixes the main computer soon...we could really use those security cameras right now.”
Amy nodded. “Not even my computer can find her...the palace’s energy level is too high.”
It was King Endymion who appeared with the sobbing pink-haired princess.
“Rini!” Serenity rushed to her husband, comforting her little girl.
Endymion frowned. “She wouldn’t tell me what was wrong...she was crying too hard.”
“Oh, it was my fault!” Lita confessed. “I scolded her for putting too much flour in the cookie dough. She muttered something about always being a nuisance then ran off, crying.”
The King gently set Rini down, a worried look on his face. Mina patted the little girl’s head. “Rini, you aren’t a nuisance!”
Rini wiped her eyes. “Yes I am! Even as Chibi Moon you guys always have to save me from something!”
The Queen smiled and knealt down in front of the tiny moon princess. “No, Rini...you’ve helped the Sailors a lot of times. Remember Zirconia and Nehelenia? Without you, we never could’ve beaten them.”
Her daughter smiled. “You don’t think I get in the way?”
Lita laughed. “Of course not! And just to let you know, the cookies came out perfect--even better than the last batch!”
The princess beamed. “Really?”
Amy nodded. “Really. Why don’t you come and try one?”
“Ok!” Rini agreed, following Amy into the kitchen.
Serenity sighed and stood up. “Poor Rini...I wonder what gave her the idea that she was a nuisance?”
Endymion looked at his worried wife. “I don’t know...maybe Amy can get it out of her.”
“You’re right.” she smiled. “Rini’s always the most gullable when she’s eating1”
“Just like her mom...” the King laughed.
The Queen lost all of her dignity as she glared at her husband. “And what’s that supposed to mean??”
Endymion chuckled. “Nothing, Serena, absolutely nothing...”
At this point, Mina, Lita, and Raye joined Amy in the dining hall, laughing to themselves.
