Chapter 6-The Power of the Sea

In a place filled with mist we see the same two figures standing there.

"They aren't ready."

"They are ready. Just give them a chance."

"You saw how they treated the Princess. They have so little faith in her that they would believe what they thought of her and wouldn't listen to reason. They aren't ready for the power I have given them."

"Please give them a second chance."

"All right. But only for the Princess."

"Thank you."

************************************************

The Sun was up and it showed bright through the window. She opened her eyes and listen to the voice. There were two voices. She heard that voice before. It was her mother! She lay still and listened.

"Mrs. Tsukno Can your daughter stay with me? She isn't feeling well and she had a fight with her friends. It might be best for her."

"That sounds fine. Mr. Tsukino, Sammy, and I are going to visit some relatives. Serena was going to go but she can stay here if she wants."

"She is asleep right now, but I'll have her call you when she wakes."

"That would be fine. You will make sure she goes to school?"

"Of course."

The door shut and she heard footsteps walking towards her room. She closed her eyes pretending she was asleep.

"Come on Serena. I know you're awake."

She opened her eyes and sat up in bed.

"How did you know I was awake?"

"Good guess. Come on Breakfast is ready."

She jumped out of the bed and followed Sara to the dinning room.

"You have a big house Sara. You live here all by yourself?"

"Yep."

"Aren't you lonely? Staying here all by yourself."

"I'm not alone. I have Rain."

"Rain?"

Sara put her arm up and a Falcon flew out of knowwhere and landed on her arm.

"Serena meet Rain."

"Wow. I didn't now you had a Falcon."

"He's my best friend. Come on Serena you need to eat."

After Serena ate her and Sara walked to her house to get her clothes. Luna was waiting there for her.

"Serena I was worried sick. Where have you been?"

"I'm right here Luna. I'm staying at Sara's house for awhile."

"Oh."

"What is wrong with you Serena?"

"Come on Luna, your going too."

Sara, Serena, and Luna were waking down the street to Sara's house.

"Thanks for letting me bring my cat Luna, Sara. She's my best friend."

"Serena you have lots of friends."

"Yeah, but she is the only one I can trust and count on."

Luna looked up at Serena.

"Oh Serena. My Princess."

Luna's train of thought was broken by a scream. A monster that was big and hairy with red eyes was holding a woman and a red glow was going into her body.

"Drat. This isn't the one."

"Oh, know I got to help but I can't transform in front of Sara."

Serena looked down at Luna.

"Luna. I want you to go get The Outer Scouts. They aren't far from here."

Luna nodded and ran off. Sara and Serena hid in an alley. The monster was about to leave when it noticed a black cat run from an alley. He went to investigate. He saw a blonde and a black haired girl hiding next to a trash can.

"Aha! I've found some more victims."

Sara motioned for Serena to run. They took off out of the alley with the monster close behind. He threw this energy beam at them. At the last moment a yell was heard and this wall was up. The energy beam was blocked.

"The Sailor Scouts." Breathed Serena.

"Don't worry Serena your safe now."

"Thanks Sailor Saturn."

The Outer Scouts started to attack him, but to no avail. Serena and Sara were by a wall when the monster suddenly attacked them. Before they could run out of the way the energy hit them. Screams where heard erupting from the girls. The Outer Scouts looked on in horror. Sailor Neptune looked at her Princess and future Queen. She started to glow her Planets color. Then she screamed out the last words the demon would hear.

"Neptune Whirling Water Pulverize!"

She threw out her hands a wave rolled out of her arms and crashed into the monster. He screamed, and turned into dust. The other Scouts looked at her.

"Serena!"

She ran to her and held her in her arms. Unnoticed by the scouts Sara was looking on with a proud look in her eyes.
