How he couldn't wait to see the model once more today yet he knew he will see her tomorrow. He was surprised to say the least that Serena Mitz actually agreed to go out with him! He remembered reading off a magazine saying how Serena wasn't interested in men and was busy with her career. How wrong they were!
It was still early to get ready for work so he started watching some television. Tomorrow was the big night and he couldn't wait.
Mina flipped when she heard of her loveless sister finally going on a date. "Serena, you are coming with Amy and me to go shopping for your date." Serena blushed when Mina said < date > but Mina never noticed. "So tell me, how does he look like?"
Holding back her laughter, she replied, "He has stormy blue eyes, jet black hair, and a killer smile."
Her twin smiled, "He must really be cute if < you > are going out with him. Serena nodded her head in agreement. Mina looked at her curiously, "So sis, what's his last name and how rich < is > he?" Serena was lost in thought but quickly added, "I never asked him for his last name but he doesn't have that much money that I know of." Mina eyed her sister as if she had done something very wrong. "You mean to tell me you are going out with a poor man?" Serena quickly defended Darien.
"I'm just not sure if he is rich. Not everyone is a millionaire like us. Mina risen from her seat and walked out the room. "I'll call Amy to come over now."
"Darien, did you hear what I just told you?" Lita screamed into his ear. Darien came back to reality and muttered, "Huh?"
"Your sister is coming hear in two days," Lita huffed, "And Andrew is visiting you in five days."
Darien stood there speechless while Lita continued, "I will never watch out for my friend's brother again! Keep up with your life Darien okay?" She stormed out of the kitchen and headed towards her car. Darien searched for Stacy and told her to watch the place while he left. She reluctantly agreed and he left.
Serena smiled as she hanged up the phone. Her friend Raye was coming to visit in two days. When she asked where she was going to stay, she told her at her brother's apartment. She never knew Raye had an older brother before. "Serena, we are leaving for the mall now!" yelled Mina. She quickly checked her hair and left the room.
He couldn't believe what he just found out. His sister was going to < stay > at his house! If Raye ever found out he lived in a run down apartment, she would definitely make him come back home with her. He still had two more weeks until he was finished with medical school. Then, he would be able to become a doctor.
Soon, he entered the park and sat on a bench with a newspaper in his hand. He knew he still had money left over so he could rent a better apartment than the one he had now. He looked at the newspaper carefully and soon found something.
He checked his watch to see if he still had time to check out the penthouse. He grabbed his cell phone and dialed the number. Afterwards, he climbed into his car and drove off to check it out.
She had finally met her sister's friend Amy. She was a shy woman with short blue hair. The mall was packed with so many people; it was hard to get around. Mina led them to Macys and searched for the perfect dress for Serena. Amy smiled at Serena while she just rolled her eyes. Mina stopped what she was doing and stared at them, "Hello! We are suppose to be getting cloths and stuff!"
Amy smiled at her fashion frenzy friend; "I don't really need anything except a book or two."
Serena quickly made an excuse; "I'm just too exited with Raye coming to visit that I don't feel like shopping."
Mina giggled at them, "You guys are so funny! You could have just told me you didn't want to come to this store."
Mina returned the dressed she was holding except for a pastel pink dress.
"Okay Serena, I found the perfect dress for your date."
She led them off towards the cash register and paid for the dress.
After taking a tour through the penthouse, he finally reached a decision. "I'll buy it!"
The woman with aqua hair clapped her hands happily after Darien signed the contract. After looking at his signature, she gasped, "Your Darien Kurts! Oh my!"
Darien chuckled a bit, "So, what did you hear about me this time?"
The woman turned a deep shade of red and squeaked, "Nothing..."
He exited the building and went off towards medical school. If he wasn't there in ten minutes, he would be late for class.
After entering store after store, they then went home. She carefully pulled out the silky pink dress and tried it on. 'Mina is right. I do look good in this dress.' She took it off and went into her sister's room.
Mina was laying on her bed talking to one of her many friends.
Serena hid by the door and listened.
"You finally sold that penthouse? That's great!"
"Who bought Michelle?"
"You're kidding!"
"Darien Kurts! Is he really a hunk as they say?"
"He is! Do you know his phone number?"
"What do you mean you can't tell me!?"
"Okay whatever."
"Yeah, I'm releasing my album next week."
She left the door to think what her sister just said. 'Could Darien Kurts be Raye Kurts's brother?' 'Is this Darien Kurts the same person as the Darien I know?'
