The sailor scouts have just escaped their doom at the hands of Rubeus and have teleported from his spaceship. But the turbulence caused by the explosion of it have thrown them way off course landing them in an entirely different universe (the Marvel one) sometime into the future (1999 to be(more) exact) and scattering them over a short distance. Unfortunately for them the area they landed in is fraught with peril.
