Chapter Ten

Setsuna Tsuchi was sitting behind her desk, lost in thought. It was strange to her to be somewhere besides guarding the Gates of Time, but just somehow knew that she was not needed there. Because of that feeling, she had gone to a designers school, and had become a fashion designer. Her clothes were quite popular, and it was not uncommon to see someone walking down the street wearing one of her designs.

Setsuna longed to see her friends, especially Serena. She hoped that Darien and Serena were happy together. It was nice to think of Darien and Serena being together without being overcome with jealousy.

In the past, Setsuna had been blinded by jealousy every time she saw the two together, and even when she parted from them twenty-two years ago, she would occasionally be overcome with jealousy.

The reason she had always been jealous, was that one time she had, not quite so accidentally, looked into her own future. She saw herself happily married to a tall, dark haired, blue eyed, handsome man. The moment she had met Darien, she had thought that he was her future husband, until she remembered Serena. From then on, she just figured that she had seen a possible future, not the true one. Then she met Desmond.

Desmond was a fellow fashion designer. He was tall, had dark hair, blue eyes and was very handsome. He also was an exact copy of Darien, attitude, looks and all. Setsuna knew then that Desmond was to be the love of her life.

Setsuna's thoughts then shifted to Destiny, her daughter. Setsuna loved Destiny with all of her heart, but she felt so bad for her gregarious teen, for one day Destiny would have to take her mother's place as eternal guardian to the Gates of Time. Even Setsuna had no idea what fate was to befall her two sons, Demitrius and Donal, all that she could hope was that it would be a favorable fate.

She was ripped away from her thoughts by a beeping noise coming from her greenish-black watch. She pushed the button that turned the watch into a communicator, pushed the almost unnoticeable greenish-black crystal, and listened.

"I am Eternal Sailor Moon! How dare you shatter the peace of earth! In the name of the moon, I will destroy you!"

"Give me your energy!"

"Never!"

That was all Setsuna needed to hear, for she knew that it could mean only one thing, time to go back to her friends.

The next day Setsuna, Desmond and three angry teenagers were on their way to Juuban.
