Minako sat on her bed. It had been three days since they had found an energy less Rei. Worse off they soon discovered that she couldn’t transform in to Sailor Mars.
Rei predicted that an enemy was coming but it looks like it is already here, inside the palace walls. Haruka thinks that it is princess Yuki but I sense something good in her. Hotaru thinks that she may be a senshi and I'm beginning to think so too. I need to keep my eyes open, as the leader of the inner senshi I need to protect the queen.
She thought.
Minako draped herself on her bed.
"I’m so tired, but it’s only 4:00. I can’t go to sleep yet."
She stood up.
" I guess I could go see Makoto."
Lily sat in front of a computer screen.
"Hee Hee!"
She laughed.
She picked up her red crystal. It coursed with that pathetic little fire princess power.
"Hmmm,"
She sighed.
" Who should I target next?"
She touched an orange crystal.
" Maybe the soldier of love and beauty. Noooo..."
She said dragging out the last word.
" Better save her for later she’s really strong."
She picked up a light blue crystal.
"Yes, the senshi of ice and wisdom. She’s next."
Lily paused.
"But first I’ll go see my little friend, Chibi-Usa.
Chibi-Usa was looking in her mirror. She took the pins out of each of her buns.
Pink hair fell in folds. She took a small silver brush and ran in through her long locks.
Chibi-Usa turned as her door opened.
"Lily."
She stated.
"Hi, what’s up?"
Lily came in the room and sat on Chibi-Usa’s bed.
" Chibi-Usa do attacks like the one made on Rei happen a lot?"
Chibi-Usa stood up and sat next to her newfound friend.
" No we really haven’t had an attack in the palace. It’s very strange. I mean the attack came after both you and Yuki were here. Some people think that it’s you, some thinks that it’s the princess. I don’t know who it is but I know that it’s not you or the princess. It couldn’t be."
Lily stood up.
Thanks for reassuring me, Chibi-Usa, but I need to go now. I'll talk to you later."
Chibi-Usa smiled at lily.
"Okay."
She said.
Standing outside Chibi-Usa’s door Lily smiled. It couldn’t be me. the poor fool, but I suppose that she’ll believe anything. I must be on my way.
I've got another life to destroy.
She walked to the palace library. Ami was sitting with Setsuna, other than each other they were alone.
Lily smiled evilly.
I can get a two for one here.
She thought.
Lily took out the blue crystal and slowly unwound a dark crimson crystal from her hair
She quietly walked in to the room.
It‘s important for them to not see me.
She thought.
How do I do that though? Hmmmmm
Lily saw a large bookcase behind Ami and Setsuna.
"Ahhhhhhhhh"
Lily said out loud softly.
I can hide behind that.
Lily walked through rows of books to her hiding place.
Ok,
She thought.
"Powers of the dark moon grant me the power of ice and time. Send it to my hand."
Black energy flew from Lily's hand and hit Ami and Setsuna in the back, absorbing their powers. They fell forward on the table and they too did not see their attacker.
