The House of Hope Family Ministry was conceived and organized by Lula Earnest and friends in March, 1998. We are a non-profit (501(c) (3) organization.
The objectives are to teach the Bible to families, to tutor children who need help with school work, to share personal developement and homemaking skills, and to reach out in any way possible in our community to give help and hope to the entire family.
Our theme is "Showing the Love of God to the Now Generation.:"
We have given out clothing, Bibles, personal items and food to needy people. We take the children and families to Sunday School and Worship when they show an interest in going.
The change in the children who come for help with school work is very noticeable. We teach them Bible verses and Christian songs in every session. Some children have accepted Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. We encourage them to do their best in school, and we give them rewards for improving in behavior.
