TRUTHS, LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP Sequel to "Truths" and "Truths, Secrets Revealed." ************************************************************************** Serena sighed as she looked up at the pure white full moon. She and Darien were out for a night to themselves; something the Scouts and cats hadn't been letting them get much of lately. But they intended to enjoy the little privacy they could get to the max. It had been almost a month since she and Darien had remembered their past lives. Since who they really were had been revealed. She continued to stare up at the moon, as if hoping to see some sign of her past, of the Silver Millennium. But there was none. The Silver Millennium was long gone; along with her Mother. Serena felt the softest of butterfly kisses on the top of her head. She turned and looked into her loves' stormy blue eyes. "Are you all right, Serena?" he whispered as he pulled her closer to him. "You seem...quiet. Very un-Serena like!" he told her with mock shock. Serena had to giggle at that, but then soon stopped. Darien became even more concerned. "Seriously, Serena. What's wrong?" Serena hesitated for a moment. Tears fell from her eyes as she started to answer him. "I-I'm scared! I'm scared, and I'm mad, and sad! I know that we'll have to wait for Luna to come back with the info on Queen Beryl, and I'm scared about what she'll say we have to do." Darien tilted her chin up towards him. "Serena, we already know what we have to do. If we loose, then Beryl will just take over Earth, and then move on to the next planet. We can't let that happen." Serena nodded. "I know," she whispered. "It's just that she-she KILLED MY MOTHER! MY MOTHER DARIEN!" Serena suddenly exploded. "I've never hated anyone, and I know that I don't really hate Queen Beryl, but I can't help but dislike her! She destroyed everything! The peace, and tranquility; the love and laughter. It was gone in the blink of an eye! And then...she tried to take you away from me! Sh-she tried to capture you wh- when we remembered!" Darien wrapped his arms around her small frame and kissed her forehead. "Serena, I had no idea that you felt so strongly about all this. Why didn't you tell me? Or the girls?" Serena just shook her head. The wound had been opened up again, and all she could do was bury herself deeper into his embrace. <:Flashback- The night the Prince and Princess were discovered.:> The Sailor Scouts huddled around the Prince of Earth and Princess of the Moon. It was so hard to believe, and yet here was the proof. "Our Princess," Mercury whispered as she cradled her friends' head in her lap. "Who would have thought that *Serena* would be..." Mars stopped. "Of course it should be her. She's got the kindest and purest heart of us all. She doesn't let anyone be lonely and is always there for any person. She has always been a princess at heart," she whispered softly. The others nodded in agreement. They heard a soft groan coming from Zoisite. Turning, the Scouts saw Zoisite struggling off the floor where Serenity had blasted her after she had recovered the Silver Crystal and her memories. "How...TOUCHING! You're pathetic little princess is going to share the same fate as her mother!" she yelled before she collapsed into Malachite's arms just as he appeared. After being assured that she was all right, Malachite directed his attention to the Prince lying on the ground, surrounded by the last of the Moon's Royal Guard. Smiling wickedly, he outstretched his hand and threw a stream of energy to temporarily blind the Sailor Scouts. He then used his power to lift the unconscious Prince into the air. Serenity, who was now Sailor Moon again, awoke just in time to see Malachite begin to take her love from her. "NO DARIEN!!! ENDYMION!" she yelled. Suddenly, she found the strength to lift her body from the floor. Reaching, she grabbed the Crescent Moon Wand and prepared to use it. "COSMIC MOON POWER!" The waves of Moon energy caught Malachite off guard. He withdrew his hand and powers. Sneering, he teleported away from the Sailor Scouts. His lack of concentration and withdrawing of his powers caused Darien to drop from his mid-air position. Sailor Moon screamed bloody murder as she watched him fall. Sailors Mars, Jupiter, and Venus rushed forwards and positioned themselves underneath him, barely catching the prince as he fell. "It's okay, Serena. We got him," Jupiter assured her friend. "He'll be alright." Sailor Moon nodded and let her shoulders droop. Exhaustion was taking over her body, causing her to drop the wand and collapse to the ground. "Darien..." Sailor Mercury checked her friend's vital signs, to be sure that she was, indeed, only unconscious. Mercury let out a sigh of relief and then turned her attention to the newfound Prince lying on the ground. She kneeled next to him and began to scan him with her VR Visor and Mercury computer. Mercury was still scanning him a few minuets later when he woke up. "Don't...worry..." whispered a soft masculine voice. "I think...I'll live." Mercury shook her head. "You've always been stubborn, Darien. Now, lay still so I can make sure that you're going to be alright." Darien groaned and laid his head back down. His eyes suddenly flew open, "SERENA!" he called as forcefully as he could. "Where is she!?" he demanded from the Sailor Scouts when Serena didn't answer. The Sailor Scouts looked at him in shock. Mars stepped forward, "Well, she's-" "I'm right here, love," a small voice whispered from behind the girls. The Sailor Scouts turned their heads to Sailor Moon as she walked up to Tuxedo Mask. Kneeling down, she brushed her lips with his briefly. That, however, wasn't enough for him. Darien followed her lips as she pulled away and caught her in a longer, more passionate kiss, one that Serena gladly excepted and returned. The Sailor Scouts stood in mild shock, except for Mercury. Even though they knew about the past, they didn't think that the two of them would except it so readily. "I thought I was seeing things when I saw you two kissing in the elevator. But when I heard what you were saying to each other when Darien got injured, I knew it had actually happened," Mercury stated with a wide smile. Serena and Darien blushed. The Sailor Scouts just yelled, "WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!" "Um...Surprise?" Sailor Moon said as she cradled Tuxedo Mask's head in her lap. Darien took Serena's hands and kissed it gently. "Bet...none of you...were expecting.....that!" His vision began to dim and he inhaled deeply. Sailor Moon took his hand and squeezed it as she felt his life fading. "No...Please God. Not again," Sailor Moon whispered. Mercury closed her visor and palm top. "Come on, everyone. We need to hurry." She looked to her best friend. "He may not last much longer." The three other guardian warriors picked Tuxedo Mask up and began to carry him out of the ruins of the Starlight tower. They got out as quickly as possible, barely making it to the hospital in time to save him. The whole time, Serena never once left his side. <:End Flashback. Back to the park!:> "Serena?" Darien whispered as he looked to the angel curled in his embrace. He chuckled when he realized that she was sound asleep. "Same Serena. She'll never change. But, why would I want her to?" Darien closed his eyes and just enjoyed the feeling of his angel being so close to him. His breathing began to relax and Darien forced himself to stay awake. The past month had been exhausting for all of them, Serena and Darien especially. With the Negaverse knowing his civilian identity, there had been more then one close call. The Negaverse hadn't really been after him as much as they were Serenity. While Queen Beryl wanted him, she also wanted the Silver Crystal; and he was the perfect black mail for getting it from Sailor Moon. She had tried several times to capture him, but each time she was thwarted by Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts. The girls had saved his life several times and he was very grateful for that. He knew that one or more of them was always following him and Serena while they were out. He also knew that for a little while they had been following just him. Darien suspected Serena put a stop to that. This night was probably one of the few that the couple had had truly alone. The girls and cats were afraid that the two of them being together would give the Negaverse more initiative to attack, even if they didn't know who Serenity was. But tonight, Sailor Scouts were under strict orders not to follow them. A rustling in the bushes brought Darien's full attention back to earth. "Who's there?" he asked with his voice full of malice. 'God, don't let it be a youma! Not with Serena here!' His fears were calmed seconds later. "It's ok, Darien. It's just us!" Sailor Venus said as she and Mars stepped out of the bushes. Darien breathed a large sigh. 'It figures. I can't get a second alone with Serena.' "What are you doing here?" he asked the two tiredly. "You guys promised us just one night without anyone tailing us." Mars craned her neck a bit and saw that Serena was snoring softly. Smiling and shaking her head, she turned back to the Prince, "It's eleven o'clock. We were getting worried," she told him. "You guys are too over protective." 'Almost as bad as me,' Darien thought to himself. "Don't worry, I would never let anything happen to her. You know that." Sailor Venus stepped forward. "We know, Prince. It's just that with the Negaverse knowing who you are and the final battle fast approaching-" "What do you mean?" Darien cut her off. "'The final battle fast approaching?'" Venus sighed. "That's the other reason we came to get you. Luna says it's time. Tomorrow, we take the fight to Beryl." ************************************************************************** Serena woke up the next morning safely tucked in her bed. It was noon. She and Darien had a date at one. Probably their last one. Serena sat up and stretched while giving a yawn. "Today's the day," she whispered. Looking out her window, Serena glanced to the sky. Though she could not see the moon, she knew her mother was watching her. "I'll get her, Mother. I'll get her for you. For what she did to us..." She got up and got dressed for the day. As she was walking to the door, she stopped and gave her Mom and Dad a kiss on the cheek. "What was that for, Dear?" Illene asked. Serena smiled, "Just...because." As she was exiting the door, Sammy walked in. "Hey, Meatball Brains!" he said as he began to walk up the stairs. Serena grabbed his hand and turned him around. With a smile she kissed his forehead. "You're the best brother in the world, Sammy," she whispered and then ran out the door. Sammy stared in shock at the place his sister used to occupy. "Thank you, Serena. You're the best sister in the Universe." ************************************************************************** Turning, Serena left the only family she had known for the past fourteen years. "Goodbye," she whispered as she glanced at the house one last time. "We'll make it back someway, Serena," a soft voice whispered as Darien wrapped his arms around her. Serena nodded slightly as he kissed her temple. "Come on. Let's go." Darien led Serena as far from her house as he could, as fast as he could. ************************************************************************** Raye tapped her foot with impatience. Serena *and* Darien were late, *again!* "Where could they be?!" she yelled. "The last thing we need is our Princess or Prince going missing on us at a time like-" "We are *not* missing, Raye," a new voice said. The Scouts turned around and saw the two people that they were worried about walking hand in hand up the Temple steps. "It's about time!" Raye yelled, putting her hands on her hips. "Where, may I ask, have you two been?" Darien looked at Raye with steel eyes. He was not in the mood for her and her comments. "You may not ask. It's none of your business, Raye. If you must know, we were just out saying good bye." Mina smiled softly, "I was doing the same thing. Even if we do come back, I just wanted to remember everything like it is now. Ya know?" she said with a slightly quivering voice. The others, including Raye, nodded in agreement. Luna and Artemis walked up to them, "It's time," Luna told them. Nodding slightly, the group pulled out their transformation items. "MERCURY POWER!" "MARS POWER!" "JUPITER POWER!" "VENUS POWER!" "MOON PRISM POWER!" When the transformations were completed, the group stood in a circle, holding each other's hands. With a flash of light, the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask disappeared into the night. Luna felt tears well up in her eyes, but she held them back. "They have to be alright..." she whispered. "I'd never forgive myself if anything happened to them." Artemis nuzzled Luna's chin and smiled at her. "Don't worry. They'll be back." Luna nodded once and looked to the full moon. ************************************************************************** It was cold. That was the first thing that the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask noticed when they arrived at D-point. It was *very* *cold.* Sailor Moon wrapped her arms around her body in a vain attempt to warm herself. Tuxedo Mask, noticing his loves' discomfort, took his cape off and placed it on her shoulders. Sailor Moon looked up a little startled and smiled her thanks at him. Mars caught sight of the couple and shook her head. "OH YEAH! SURE, TUXIE! Be nice to her and leave the rest of us to freeze to death!" she yelled to him causing the others, even Mercury, to giggle. Tuxedo Mask grinned slightly. "I don't see a problem with it!" he called back to her causing another round of light laughter to sound from the girls. Mercury pulled out her mini computer and began to scan the surrounding area. The frozen wasteland seemed to become even more ominous as more and more seconds past. Mercury shivered. Not from the cold; but from something else that she couldn't identify. 'It has begun.' ************************************************************************** Queen Beryl sat on her throne in the Negaverse. Thousands of lost souls normally inhabited her throne room, but today, they were preparing for the taking over of the Universe. She watched as the Sailor Scouts appeared outside of her domain and began to head for the entrance of the Negaverse. "Has the time come so quickly, Sailor Scouts? Do really wish to die so soon?" She lowered her gaze slightly and gave a low, evil laugh. "So be it. You will die, all of you." Her gaze transfixed on Sailor Moon and she sneered at the golden haired princess. "You, Princess Serenity, will have the honor of dying at my feet. I don't think your Prince will be able to stand seeing that..." Queen Beryl gave a wicked laugh and called forth her most powerful youma. ************************************************************************** "How much longer, Mercury?!" Venus yelled over the howling winds. They had been wandering around for about twenty-five minuets and every one of them was freezing. "I think I'm getting colder! If it's possible," she muttered under her breath. Mercury glanced to her friends, "It won't be much longer, I think." She punched a few more calculations into her computer. "It's only-" a series of frantic beeping interrupted her. "Hold it! There's something up a head!" The Sailor Scouts automatically stood in front of Sailor Moon with Tuxedo Mask between the two. "What is it?" Mars asked. "I'm not sure..." she muttered as she began to frantically type into her data computer. "MERCURY! LOOK OUT!" Sailor Moon screamed as she started running forward in an attempt to save her friend. Quickly, the young princess pushed her friend out of the way, getting her arm cut in the process. Sailor Moon rolled in the opposite direction that Mercury did and stood up, her Tiara in hand. Mercury looked up and froze in place. There, standing in front of her, was a seven-foot youma made completely of ice. Its frozen body was nearly transparent and she looked colder then the snow. Mercury analyzed its appearance in a second, but didn't see its arms stretch to grab her in time. She screamed as the icy tentacles that were its' arms grabbed her own arms and began to freeze them. "NO! AMY!" Sailor Moon yelled as she ran towards her friend. The youma looked at Sailor Moon and released a stream of ice from her mouth that knocked her back into Tuxedo Mask. Sailor Mars brought her hands together and prepared her attack just as Tuxedo Mask created a rose and took aim. "MARS FIRE IGNI-" "NO!" Mercury yelled as loud as she could. Mars stopped and Tuxedo Mask made his rose disappear. "Don't worry-" she inhaled sharply as the youma's power caused her legs to freeze. The only part of her body that wasn't frozen was her face, chest and one arm. 'When it's done with me, it will go after my Princess. NO!! I *can't* let that happen!' "-I promise, I'll be alright." The Sailor Scouts watched in awe and fear as Sailor Mercury raised one arm into the air, "MERCURY..." she cast one last glance at her leader. She knew exactly what she was going to do. 'It will go after her.' "...POWER!!!" A blue light surrounded Sailor Mercury as she invoked the full power of her transformation wand. The blast erupted out of Sailor Mercury and blew the scouts fifty meters away from her. The demon holding on to their friend disintegrated with one final scream. The Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask stood, frozen, in place. Sailor Moon stood and stared blankly at the spot where Sailor Mercury had stood mere seconds earlier. "No..." she whispered brokenly. "NO! Amy...you can't...please don't leave me..." she cried out. Tuxedo Mask came up to her and wrapped his arms around her. Sailor Moon turned and buried herself into his embrace. "It's going to be alright, Serena. Don't worry," he whispered while fighting off his own tears. "She did it so that the rest of us could go on. Don't cry." Sailor Moon threw her arms around his neck and cried. Tuxedo Mask held her and turned to the other Scouts, they were in the same condition; holding on to each other for dear life and sobbing for their fallen comrade. A slight breeze picked up and blew around the warriors causing them all to start. It was warm. "Don't worry about me, my friends," a gentle voice whispered. "Keep fighting! I'll always be with you." "Mercury..." Sailor Jupiter whispered. Pulling herself together, she turned to her other friends, "She's right! We have to keep fighting! We *CAN'T* let Queen Beryl win! Let's go!" The Sailor Scouts reluctantly left their friends' deathbed and continued to the Negaverse. 'She'll pay for this! My mother...and now my best friend!' Sailor Moon thought as she trudged forward. 'Why?' ************************************************************************** Queen Beryl frowned slightly at the crystal ball that was suspended in mid-air. "Only three more to go..." she whispered menacingly as she gave an invisible signal. ************************************************************************** The group of ancient warriors trudged through the harsh snow of the North Pole. "Not much further," Jupiter muttered as she led the way. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask had tried to step up front to lead, but the Sailor Scouts always pushed them back and insisted that the two of them stay in the middle of the group. Sailor Jupiter was in front and Mars and Venus were bringing up the rear. Jupiter stopped suddenly and squinted through the snow. There was so much that she could hardly see two feet ahead of her. 'Wait! There's something...' The others stopped behind her and glanced at what she was looking at. Fearing the worst, the group moved in tighter. So preoccupied where they, that each of them failed to notice the lightning that began to play around them. A small spark of the darkness behind them, hit Sailor Venus in the cheek. "OW!" she yelled as she turned around. "Uh...guys?" "Yeah, V-babe?" Moon asked still looking at the figure. But it seemed to be fading... "We...uh, we have a problem!" she yelled in a panicked voice. The Scouts turned around and immediately stepped back. A giant youma made of electricity stood behind them. "Prepare to die!" it screamed as more lightning began to play around it. Sailor Jupiter smiled slightly, "You like lightning? How bout some thunder to go with it?!" "JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!" The electricity completely missed its target and went sailing into a snow bank behind the youma. It laughed wickedly and lunged for Sailor Moon. Tuxedo Mask saw this and ran forward, grabbed Sailor Moon and pulled her down with him in the nick of time. As he stood up Tuxedo Mask held his princess to him, in fear of another attack. Instead of lunging for the young royalty, it turned swiftly, and grabbed Sailor Jupiter by her collar, lifting her into the air. The Sailor Scouts gasped and ran forward in an attempt to save their friend. All of them were knocked back by the youma's lightning. "JUPITER!" Sailor Moon screamed as she saw her friend and the youma lifting hundreds of feet into the air. "Hold on Jupiter!" Tuxedo Mask called as he tried to formulate a plan in Sailor Mercury's...absence. Sailor Jupiter grinned slightly as the youma lifted her higher and began to electrocute her. She had never felt such pain, but she knew what she had to do. 'For my friends! For the future!' "JUPITER..." she looked down at her friends once more and smiled wider, "POWER!" "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sailor Venus, Mars and Tuxedo Mask screamed as Jupiter let loose all of her power in a blaze of green light and glory. When the light died down, Sailor Moon looked away, "No..." she sobbed. "NO! JUPITER!" she yelled. "You can't..." the princess whispered through her tears. Tuxedo Mask took deep breaths and walked to his love. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he tried to comfort her and the other girls at the same time. "Don't cry for me!" a voice shouted. "Don't forget the mission! Put the witch away!" ************************************************************************** Queen Beryl's eyes flashed dangerously. "Two down," she said with an evil grin, "only two to go." ************************************************************************** Sailor Moon was still crying as the four warriors moved on. It hurt. She hadn't felt such pain since the Moon Kingdom. Since the night Queen Beryl had taken all of their lives. Sailor Venus cast a glance to her princess and noted her state. 'She feels responsible. Oh, Serenity! Don't! Don't do this to yourself.' Sailor Mars looked at Sailor Moon and then back to the ground. 'If only we had been faster! Then Mercury, and Jupiter...they wouldn't be...NO! It's not your fault, Raye! They died for what we are committed to, and by Selene, I will to if I must! For them.' The four kept walking until they were almost to the entrance. Sailor Moon stopped at the top of the hill they were climbing and looked down at the entrance with hatred. Wiping her tears away and placing a look of sheer determination on her face, she began to walk the downgrade to her worst enemy. The others exchanged worried glances over the princess' head and began to follow her. Sailor Mars kept her head down, until she felt an unfamiliar and evil aura. She reached and grabbed Sailor Moon's wrist and pulled her back, behind her. "Mars?!" Tuxedo Mask said in a worried tone. Venus and Mars exchanged a look. Mars nodded an affirmative to her friend. "I feel and evil energy approaching. And it's not Beryl. She won't get off her butt to meet us," Mars added as an after thought. As if on cue, two youmas appeared one hundred feet away from the group. One had fire for hair and the other had hair as black as space. "Guess it's our turn..." Venus said thoughtfully. "NO!" Sailor Moon yelled, running up and grabbing both of her friends' hands. Tuxedo Mask came behind her and placed a hand on both of their shoulders. "Please, don't go! I can't-won't do this alone!" Sailor Moon begged. She lowered her head, "Please..." Tuxedo Mask looked to each of the girls with pleading eyes, "You don't need to-" "Yes, we do!" Venus told him with determination. Mars nodded her agreement, "And you'll never be alone, Serena. We'll be with you, forever." Venus smiled and the two pried their wrists from Sailor Moon's grip. Sailor Moon tried to run after them, but Tuxedo Mask caught her around the waist and held her to him, so that she wouldn't have to watch. Sailor Moon pulled out of his embrace and watched her friends run to the demons and use their powers to no effect. She held her breath as the youmas trapped the two of them in rings of black fire and then begin to blast them with dark power. Sailor bit her lip as she watched her friends begin to call out their ultimate powers. She reached for Tuxedo Masks' hand and he gripped hers as tight as possible. 'A warriors death. Don't disgrace them, Serenity,' she told herself. "MARS POWER!" "VENUS POWER!" Sailor Moon forced herself to watch as the twin beams of light consumed her two friends. When the light died down, Sailor Moon through herself into Tuxedo Mask's arms. He gladly excepted her, and held her as she cried her heart out. Tuxedo Mask closed his eyes and let his own tears slide silently down his cheeks. He'd lost four of the most important people in his life. His best friends. He cast a glance down at his princess and gritted his teeth. 'I *WON'T* loose her!' He placed a kiss on top of his princess's head and just held her as the two of them cried out their loses. Through their tears, the prince and princess vaguely heard two familiar voices. "I swear that if you don't protect her, Darien, I'm going to come back and haunt you! "And if you thought she was bad in life, I can't imagine how bad she is while dead! That thought just freaks me out!" "Watch it V-Babe!" "OW! KNOCK IT OFF, RAYE!" ************************************************************************** Queen Beryl chuckled evilly and then laughed out loud. "PATHETIC! Well, this is going to be easier then I thought..." The Queen raised a hand and brought the embracing couple in front of her. With a thud, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask landed on the ground on their knees in front of Queen Beryl's throne. "Just where you should be, on your knees groveling!" Sailor Moon's head shot up at the sound of Queen Beryl's voice and she stood as fast as possible, not wanting to be on the ground appearing weak in front of her nemesis. Tuxedo Mask came up after Sailor Moon and glowered at the evil Queen. Had it been any other time, he would have asked why they were there, but he knew. He knew why he was there. 'This is it.' Queen Beryl stood from her throne and gave a viscous smile to her prisoners. "Welcome, 'Princess' Serenity, Prince Endymion. I'm glad that you managed to make it through my youmas." Sailor Moon shouted in complete anger, "DON'T START THAT! YOU WANTED *THEM* DEAD! THOSE YOUMAS WERE FOR THEM, NOT US!" Tuxedo Mask put his hand on Sailor Moon's shoulder trying to calm her. Sailor Moon took a deep breath and tried to settle down, with little success. She brought her own hand up to his and took it in hers. Queen Beryl saw this and hr eyes flashed dangerously, "Still hanging on to this pathetic princess are you, Endymion? This is the last time I'm going to offer you-" "Then save your breath," Tuxedo Mask told her vehemently. "I will never betray my love for Serena." He narrowed his eyes, "And I would never betray my friends and their sacrifices." Queen Beryl shook her head, "Back to this are we? You will never win and I will kill you just as I did in the Silver Millennium." An aura of darkness flared up around her as she began to power up to attack. Tuxedo Mask stood next to Sailor Moon, who was trying to stand in front of him to protect him from the evil Queen. 'Don't try, Serena. It's my turn.' With an evil, angry cry Queen Beryl released current of evil energy towards the prince and princess. The two easily dodged the attack and stood ready for another one. Queen Beryl sneered at Sailor Moon, but turned her attention to Tuxedo Mask. "No one says 'no' to me!!" she screeched as she hurled more power at the warrior. Thought the attack came without warning Sailor Moon ran forward at a surprising speed to Tuxedo Mask and pushed him out of the way, taking the blast to her left arm and shoulder. Sailor Moon cried out silently and fell forward into Tuxedo Mask's arms. "Serena!" he cried out as she collapsed onto him. "I'm all right...don't worry," Sailor Moon whispered as she stood up on her own. Tuxedo Mask turned to Beryl who was smirking at the injured warrior of the moon. "Not so cocky are you now, brat?" she spat out. Tuxedo Mask gritted his teeth and with a cry of anger, lunged towards the Queen. Forming an energy ball in her hands, Queen Beryl released the power straight at Tuxedo Mask. Tuxedo Mask held his chest where the blast had hit and slouched to the ground. "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sailor Moon screamed as she rushed forward to her love. Turning angry eyes to Beryl, she pulled off her Moon Tiara. "You will pay for this..." "MOON TIARA MAGIC!" Not suspecting the attack from the young princess, Queen Beryl was caught completely off guard by Sailor Moon's attack. She screamed in pain and then disappeared as the disc cut her side. Sailor Moon called her Tiara back and placed it onto her forehead. "Darien...!" She turned and ran to Darien, who was still lying on the floor. "Darien..." she whispered softly as she cradled his head in her lap. Sailor Moon brushed some bangs from his face and planted a kiss on her love's forehead. "Please...please don't leave me!" she begged to him quietly. Darien groaned and opened his eyes. "Don't cry. It hurts when you cry," he whispered to her while reaching up a hand and brushing her tears away. "Whe- where's that beautiful smile I fell in love with? Where's my Serena's smile?" Sailor Moon gave a small smile and choked back her tears. Darien took his hand from her face and beamed at her. "There it is. That's my Serena. My perfect little-" he stopped as a fit of coughing hit him. "Darien save you strength!" Sailor Moon told him, trying not to sound too desperate. "W- we can leave. Go to a doctor and-" she stopped when she saw the look in Darien's eyes. "No......" Darien drew a haggard breath and pulled Sailor Moon's head closer to his. "I'm sorry, my princess. I want to stay and help. Please *cough* forgive me." Sailor Moon nodded and gripped his hand. She traced his cheek with one of her fingers, "How could I not? I love you, Darien." "I love you too, Serena." With as swift of a movement he could, Darien pulled Serena's head to his and kissed her until all of his strength was gone. Sailor Moon pulled up and gulped. "Dar- Darien?" she whispered as she shook his shoulder. "Darien?!" more desperate this time. "Oh no... no..." Letting go of his shoulder, Sailor Moon wrapped her arms around her love and cried. ************************************************************************** Queen Beryl stood outside of the Negaverse exulting in her new power. The power of the Negaforce; the most powerful army of the Negaverse. The entire army was under her control now. Nothing would stop her. She was twenty times taller and a hundred fold stronger. The final piece had finally been put in place now all she needed was... "I'm not playing games anymore, Beryl!" a girls voice came from behind her. Queen Beryl grinned, 'Perfect.' She turned around and faced Sailor Moon who was walking towards her. "So, the little Moon Princess has decided to face the fate her mother did? I truly hope this is more challenging then the battle one thousand years ago! Such a waste!" "It wasn't a waste. Mother didn't destroy your army because she didn't want to destroy me." Sailor Moon stopped two hundred feet away from her greatest enemy and lifted her head. "But now, there is nothing to stop me from destroying you. My friends would as soon as stop me then let you only be imprisoned for a thousand more years. You're going down this time!" "You really think so?" The Queen asked with an evil smirk. "Well, we'll see!" she yelled as she hurled a steam of black energy towards the Princess. Sailor Moon looked at the approaching threat blankly and stood her ground. Just before the blast was to hit her, the Crescent Moon Wand with the Silver Imperium Crystal appeared and lifted the Princess out of harms way. When the power of Queen Beryl's attack had disintegrated, the Crystal created a pillar of ice for it's Princess to stand on during the fight. Sailor Moon took the Silver Crystal and Wand into her hands and transformed into Princess Serenity. Lifting her head, the Princess stared directly at the enemy and began to fight. "COSMIC MOON POWER!" Queen Beryl let loose all of her power and met Princess Serenity's head on, halfway between the two. "YOU'LL NEVER WIN!" Beryl yelled to Serenity. "YOU'LL DIE JUST LIKE ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS! JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER!" Princess Serenity held her head even higher at the mention of her mother. "Never...I WILL BEAT YOU FIRST!" she yelled as she released even more power. But she felt herself slipping. Falling into nothing as her energy diminished. "Endymion...help..." Queen Beryl heard her call and increased her assault on the young girl, but to her surprise, the energy didn't come any closer. It actually was pushed back more. "WHAT?!" Serenity felt a strong, familiar arm wrap around her waist as she called for Endymion. Turing to her side, Serenity saw him. Prince Endymion was standing there right next to her, holding her up as she used more and more power. "Darien," she whispered as more power joined what she was already putting out. "Thank you." Prince Endymion smiled at Princess Serenity and helped her stay up. "I would never abandon you," he whispered as the power of the two grew even stronger. Serenity nodded and fought back the tears coming to her eyes. Queen Beryl saw the Prince and let out a cry, releasing as much power as she could at the two. Serenity and Endymion's power was pushed back away from its intended target. Serenity gasped. "Are you going to ask us to join the party or not, Meatball Head?!" Sailor Mars called as she and the other four Sailor Scouts appeared on either side of their Prince and Princess. "You think we'd miss this?" Serenity and Endymion started at the appearance of their friends. Serenity smiled and felt tears of joy come to her eyes as she felt even more power rush through her veins as the Sailor Scouts took hold of the Moon Wand along with her. On a silent count, the six warriors gave everything they had to their planet. Their Universe. To each other. "MERCURY POWER!" "MARS POWER!" "JUPITER POWER!" "VENUS POWER!" "MOON PRISM POWER!" The combined energies of the four Sailor Scouts, the Prince of Earth and the Princess of the Moon merged together and released in a single, shattering moment, completely destroying Queen Beryl. The five spirits of the Sailor Scouts and Prince Endymion smiled at their Princess as she fell down and collapsed to the ground, her energy spent. "Thank you, everyone..." was all she whispered. Serenity closed her eyes and let two tears trail down her cheeks before she died. "Thank you..........." ************************************************************************** An alarm clock went off for the fourth time in a row at the Tsukino household. Serena Tsukino rolled over and smacked her alarm with a groan before realizing what time it was. "OH NO! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!" she yelled as she got dressed and ran down the stairs. Illene Tsukino shook her head at her daughter as she ran out of the house. "I hope she never changes." ************************************************************************** As Serena ran out on to the porch she spotted her cat, Luna, sitting there with another cat. "Luna?" Serena whispered having a feeling that there was something she was supposed to say, or do....... The cat's ears perked up with some hope that she could... "What am I doing? I'm talking to my cat!" Serena said with a laugh. "MEATBALL HEAD!" a voice called from the driveway. "Am I taking you to school today or what!?" Darien yelled as he smiled at Serena. Serena smiled and ran to him, throwing the door open, she launched herself into his arms. After a quick kiss, the two drove off to Cross Roads Jr. High. Luna watched as the two lovers drove off and sighed. "I'll miss her..." she whispered. Artemis nudged Luna's chin and smiled at her. "Well, at least you can still be with her. After all, you are her guardian!" Suddenly a tiny fairy woman appeared beside the two cats. "Don't worry, you two," Queen Serenity whispered. The two cats turned to her in surprise and gave slight bows. Serenity waved them up and continued, "They shall all find each other again. It is destiny," she said with a smile. "My dear Serenity, it was unfair to separate you two after your death. You must be together in this life. You must." Luan looked to her queen questioningly. "Your Majesty? Why do they remember each other, but nothing else?" Queen Serenity gave a small chuckle and smiled slightly, "They do not love each other because they are Serenity and Endymion, Luna. It is unfair to take away what they worked so hard for in this life time, too. Wouldn't you agree?" Luna and Artemis nodded. "I see," Artemis said. "They fell in love long before they found out about the Silver Millennium, and their love in this time has nothing to do with the past. And the Princess only wished to not have to fight and have a normal life." Serenity smiled even wider. "Yes. Be happy. Make sure all of them are happy," she instructed the cats and then disappeared. At that moment, a blond with a red ribbon in her hair ran up to Artemis and snatched him away from the porch. "COME ON, ARTEMIS! I'M LATE!" Another girl with raven colored hair was walking across the street and shook her head at the blond. ***************************************************************************** At Serena's school, she was forced to sit in detention after school because she had been talking with Molly earlier in the day. Ms. H was even making her and another girl named Lita study. The two didn't study, they had just talked and became friends. At least until the school genius had come in and made them study. 'Oh well. They're both nice,' Serena thought with a grin that suddenly turned into a frown, 'Don't I know them?' "Come on Serena," a masculine voice from behind her called. Serena and Amy and Lita turned around and saw Darien standing at the door. "I talked Ms. Haruna into letting all of you out. Let's go. We're late." Serena smiled and nodded as she waved goodbye to her two new friends. As she was walking out, she ran into a girl carrying a white cat. The girl apologized and then continued running. When she and Darien got outside, a girl with raven colored hair walked by them with a bunch of shopping bags, and smiled at Serena slightly. At the exact same moment six people thought: 'I wonder why this is all so familiar? Those people, do I know them?' Right before they got into the car, Darien grabbed Serena and gave her an earth-shattering kiss. Serena sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck. 'This is so, so perfect.' As Darien broke the kiss and opened the car door for her she couldn't help but think, 'Am I missing something?' The end. Yep, that's all! Now, I'm probably setting myself up for disaster here but, do you want me to make a Sailor Moon R sequel to this? I think I could do it and it could be very interesting! Let me know! Stef
