Home of the 1974-1979 Mercury Cougar

    This is a page dedicated to the seemingly-neglected 1974-1979 "Mid-Generation" Mercury Cougars. I myself, am the proud owner of a rich green 1979 Mercury Cougar XR7, vinyl top. Purchased new (by my grandparents) on October 5th, 1979...not sure of the production number. As we all know, 1979 was the last year for that body style and Montego-based chassis, before they "smallerized" them to fit the Fox chassis...ala Mustang.

                                              More to come...also, pictures of my Cougar then and now.
