MY CHARACTER GUIDE
The Tick
The big blue nigh invulnerable protagonist of the
series. He is about seven feet tall and three
hundered pounds. He has had many adventures
fighting crime with sidekick Arthur. His battlecry is
"SPOOOOOONNNNN!"
Arthur
The Tick's trusty sidekick. He was an accountant, but wanted
adventure. When he found The Tick, he got his wish. He has
a moth suit which allows him to fly. (He is often mistaken for a
rabbit, he hates this.) His battlecry is "Not in the face, not in
the face!". He has a sister named Dot, who thinks he is crazy.
Chairface
Chippendale
An evil criminal with a chair for a head. He tried to
write his name on the moon at his birthday party, by
using high powered lenses. He managed to write CHA,
but was stopped from writing any more by The Tick and company. Later, in a different
episode, The Tick went on a moon mission to erase the CHA, he managed to get rid of the
C. Now the moon reads "HA".
Die Fledermaus
A superhero whose name is German for "bat" (i.e., "flying
mouse"). He likes to think he is a superhero, but he is very
cowardly. He is most often seen at The Diner with Sewer
Urchin. He has an old car that is very slow, and has an 8
track player.
Sewer Urchin
Another cowardly super hero. Often seen in the diner with
Die Fledermaus. He speaks like Rainman, and lives in The
City's sewer system. One of his famous lines is "Bad, very
bad." As noted by many a Tick fan, he is quite a powerful
defender of The City's sewer system.
Speak
The Tick's dog, err...rodent. Speak was
discovered by The Tick in the jungle after being
launched by Aztecs (A baseball team) in a ritual.
The Tick named Speak because he spoke to him.
Speak vowed to be the Tick's loyal pet forever
because it's the law of the jungle.
