Welcome to My World!
Thanks for coming to my webpage. My name is Heather Burton. I am 17 years old, and in the fall I will be enrolling as a freshmen in college. I like lots of things, and people. I especially like playing and listening to music. (I play the trumpet and french horn.) My main reason for this page is so I can get email from people and let you know who I am. I'll be working on this page as often as I can so come back and visit and see what's new. Email me and tell me what you like about this page or if anything needs work. Or just email me to chat.
Now, since I'm a senior in high school, I have been thinking about college a lot. I have finally decided where I am going to college. Grand Valley State University. It is a really nice campus and atmosphere. It is also very close to Grand Rapids. I'm not quite sure what I am going to major in yet. I have been thinking about teaching, medicine, or journalism.
I like to do a lot of things. I love the movies and theater. I have only seen to musicals though. Last spring I saw Les Miserables, and this past May I took a trip to Canada and saw The Man of La Mancha. They were both great. One of my dreams is to take a trip to New York to see some broadway shows.
I also like sports. My favorites are basketball, hockey, tennis, golf, and football. I collect a lot of stuff. Rocks, stamps, coins, basketball cards and dust. I love to read...ANYTHING! I have tons of books. I love my family most of all. I love visiting my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family I don't even know.
