Though it was unbearable listening to his crap, he deserves his props for the great record.
Vilk, always in the market for a trade, acquired Marvin Harrison from Ebert. "I don't even know who Harrison is," said Ebert in a drunken stuper at BW-3 just after the trade was made. Other witnesses say Ebert was later seen in the Men's room with George Michael.
EZ-E's Vikings, the season's biggest underachiver, was a victim of poor trade management and placed in the middle of the pack. The team blames Ebert for the blunder.
Waltemyer just edges me and Sutton out for 2nd and Sutton gets dogged to fourth, thus missing the money spot.
Congratulations Jimbo!
Ebert knows who Marvin Harrison is now, and he also made sure everybody knows who Daunte Culpepper is. He took a chance on the rookie QB and it paid huge. Culpepper averaged over 20 points per game in his first starting season. It's also not bad to have Randy Moss on your team too!
After making mistake after mistake in his first year of managing, Ebert finally got it together. His team was almost unstoppable. He only lost twice. It was a good year to win since we added the extra ante. He walked away with $245.00. Not bad. Werle was very close, only losing three games, but couldn't do anything because Ebert's stacked team just wouldn't give way. George pinched me out for third, only by points since we had the same record.
