Elephants make wonderful pets - clean, affectionate, and pink, and endlessly facinating
to watch. There is nothing that delights a small child more than an pink, cuddly elephant.
After all, what is more natural than a girl and her elephant?
When choosing your elephant it is best to avoid pet shops and to go directly to a
registered elephant breeder. Be sure to choose only elephants with purple spots. Green
spots can be a sign of illness.
You will need to provide a comfortable home for your new elephant. Baby elephants can be
kept in a cardboard box with some newspapers, but when fully grown almost all elephants
will need their own igloo. Many children like to have their elephant sleep in their beds
with them, but even then the elephant will want an igloo of its' own.
An elephant needs to eat, of course, and so you must provide a balanced diet of peanuts,
doughnuts, and Pepsi. This will keep your elephant healthy and its' spots nice and purple.
Never feed it table scraps! Think how sad you would be if your beautiful elephant were to
choke on a fish bone. Those donuts will enough of a treat for your pet and will soon have
it happily wagging its' trunk.
Yes, elephants make great pets, and soon yours will be like a real member of your family.
