Mike and Carrie pull into Dizzy's Diner in a classic blue car. They order their regular: Three Dizzy Burgers, Fries, and chocolate milkshakes. Mike: You know, they don't have Dizzy Burgers in Israel. Carrie: Are you sure you want to go to Israel? You'll be giving up a lot. Mike: Carrie when I was in Israel, I realized the one thing that I needed to make me complete...it was you. Carrie smiles at him tenderly. Mike: If you need to go away for a while, or if you need to start fresh, I'm going to be there with you. I'll never leave you again. All of a sudden, "How Do I Live?" comes on the radio in the car, and Mike flashes back to dancing on the hilltop in Los Angeles in 1997. He recognizes the song immediately, and looks at Carrie. Mike: May I have this dance? Carrie: You definitely may. They both get out of the car, and they walk out in front of the car. Mike puts his arms around Carrie, and she looks up into his eyes. They move closer and sway to the song that brought them together. They flashback to various moments in their life together: Mike showing Carrie his car that he bought. Carrie pretending to be Mike's girlfriend in L.A. The snowball fight after Mike and Carrie's sleigh ride. Swing dancing on the way to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The fourth of July kiss. The kiss in the rain. Carrie pulls away to smile up at Mike, but notices that all of the other couples in the drive-in are dancing also. Mike: Looks like we started a trend. Carrie: Do you want to start another one? Mike, picking up on Carrie's hint, leans into kiss her. In the middle of the kiss, the other couples start clapping, but Mike and Carrie aren't embarassed! They take their bow! :-) Carrie and Mike return back to the car with their order. The waitress informs them that they had won a prize for ordering the 2,000th Burger since Dizzy's Grand Re-Opening. Mike receives the prize, and he opens it to find a pin that says, "Celebrate 2000". Mike: Must be a good omen for the new millenium. He turns to Carrie and pins it on her sweater. She looks at him lovingly. Carrie: I will never take it off. They both lean in for a kiss simultaneously. Mike pulls away, and hands a hamburger to Carrie. Mike: (opening his hamburger wrapper) Whaddya know? I got a fortune burger! Carrie: What?? Mike: There's a fortune written on the inside of this wrapper. Carrie: What does it say? Mike: "There's a rainbow waiting to take us both away to live in love and happiness forever and a day." Carrie: You wrote that, didn't you? Mike: Will you chase that rainbow with me? Carrie: That rainbow might be right here in Salem, Mike. Mike: Yeah, I guess it could be. Listen, I know I said that I would give you time, but I think we've wasted enough time already. We're free now, we're free to love each other. Carrie smiles softly. Mike: If you just let yourself be free, and if you just remember our love - and how it touched our hearts and souls. Carrie: I never forgot, Mike. Mike caught his breath, and he leans over and kisses her. The Proposal Mike and Carrie: Together Forever
