The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is located on the northern coast of the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. This park is known for its multi-colored rocks and waters in addition having several miles of the Lake Superior Hiking Trail. There is plenty of camping, hiking, sightseeing opportunities along this narrow park that is located right on Lake Superior.
