Jimmy Buffet, by far, is one of the most talented artist around. As far as I am concerned, he doesn't get nearly the "spotlight" that he deserves. His music is so diverse and rich. If it were up to me, he would be on every radio station every day! Thank God for all the Parrot Heads who have been loyal fans for all of these years. I know that Jimmy attributes so much of his success to all of us fans...and let me tell you, there is a HUGE Buffett following! If you have never been to one of his concerts, you just have to go! People of all ages and all different kinds of people gathered together for one thing....their love for Jimmy. Fans dress them selves up in Hawaiian skirts, shirts, lei's, shark costumes, parrot heads, parrot hats...you name it! Its a totally fun experience!


We have the Carribean in our soul.......

As I said before we have been to a few of his concerts and they have been awesome! We flew to Nashville in February 99 for the weekend just to see Jimmy! I listen to Jimmy Buffett so often that my kids know almost all the words to the songs, its pretty funny to see a three year old sing along with Jimmy Buffett!!!

Out of all the concerts we have been to, I think the Beach House on the Moon at Pine Knob, MI, was the best by far. We bought the tape when it first came out...it took me a while to get used to it, but now I regard it as one of the top tens by Jimmy. It was a fantastic concert, but it was HOT! ("I was on the equator, I don't know if I was up or down, but it was HOT")
