As I was rapidly getting dressed, I heard the doorbell ring. I figured it was Nick so I hurried. When I opened the door, I saw that it was Taylor. "Oh Hi Taylor.I'm kind of in a hurry.so...."
"You are always in a hurry lately Ash. You are my best friend and we hardly talk anymore.I mean...." I cut Taylor off when I saw Nick walking up my driveway.
"Hi Nick.Sorry Tay. I'll talk to ya later.We can talk about this some other time.bye."I said as I rollerbladed to the park with nick.
Once Nick and I got to the park,we sat by the lake to have or picnic that i had packed.
"Who was that guy??"Nick suddenly asked.
"Oh that's just Taylor.He's about your age.He's also my best friend."I replied quietly.I hadn't meant to be mean to Taylor but I didn't want to talk to him or I would end up telling him that I loved him.
"So he's not your boyfriend hey?"Nick said hopefully.
"Yeah.He's just been ignoring me since he meant Amanda." I replied almost in tears.Nick moved closer to me and hugged me.
"It'll be ok Ash.Just give it some time."Nick whispered quietly in my ear.His hot breath on my skin made my heart skip a beat.He smiled sweetly as I looked into his eyes.I don't know what happened but we kissed a long paasionate sweet kiss.As I pulled my lips away from his, mine were still on fire.He smeeled ;like sunshine on a rainy day and I couldn't help but say something.
"You are a good kisser"I said softly.
"You too." he smiled.I melted into his arms and sighed.not a sigh of worry or fear, a sigh of happiness.I wanted to remain like this in Nick's arms forever.
It hapopened as quickly as a flash of lightning, but I didn't care what Amanda and Taylor did. I had someone of my own. Someone that I liked and someone who liked me back.I had to talk to Taylor fast.
"Nick.I really like you,but I have to talk to someone.I need to apologize to Taylor."I said almost in tears.
"Sure.But tell me one thing first.Will you be my Girl?"He said in a soothing voice.
"Of course Nick.I....I gotta go."I gave him a big hug and left.
When I reached Taylor's house, I rang the doorbell.Jessica answered and I asked if I could speak to Tay.She saw that I had been crying and led me to the room that Isaac, Taylor, and Zac all shared. Taylor was reading a book about aleins."Taylor.I....I......I'm sorry.For ignoring you, for yelling at you, for everything."I whipered. Taylor looked at me startled.He hadn't expected me to apologise.
"It's okay ash."He got up and hugged me."Why were you crying?'he asked.
"I was really upset about leaving you standing alone at my door.I was really trying to make you jealous.I'm just really sorry.Do you forgive me?"I asked.
"As if I wouldn't forgive you.Ash.you are my best friend in the whhooolllle world."He replied.
Do you mean that?"I asked.
"Yup.Imeant that." At that moment, I was the happiest girl in the whhoooollle world.I had a wonderful boyfriend, a wonderful best friend, and a wonderful first kiss.
