Easy Lacy Scarf

 

Materials  Approximately 300yds of DK weight wool.
           I used 1 hank of Lorna's Laces hand dyed wool.

Needles:  Size 11 or 13, depending on how open you want the
          lace pattern.

Cast on:  This must be an odd number of stitches.
          I used 29, but more or less can be used according
          to how wide you want the scarf to be.

Pattern stitch:  Row 1 - K1,*yarn over, k2tog* repeat *-* to end
               Row 2 - Repeat Row 1.
               Work until scarf is desired length, bind off
               all stitches.

Tassels:  Make 2 tassels about 4 inches long.

Finishing:  Use a 12 inch strand of yarn to weave across bind
            off edge, gather together and secure. Attach
            tassel.  Repeat this with cast on edge.  Enjoy!
