Week 1:
Chippewa Valley 48, L'Anse Creuse North 0

Senior tailback Ryan Wagner had 14 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns to lead Chippewa Valley. Senior wide receiver Mario Locricchio caught four passes for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Eisenhower 26, Lapeer West 23

Bryan Gnyp threw three touchdown passes for Eisenhower. He finished 17-of-27 for 308 yards. Jason Desotell scored on a kickoff run of 96 yards and a 50-yard run for West.

Ford 35, Holly 0

Senior quarterback Craig Krenzel completed 10 of 15 passes for 87 yards with one touchdown passing and a scoring run for Ford.

Grosse Pointe North 10, Port Huron Northern 7

Gene Baratta kicked the winning 37-yard field goal for North. Senior Cornelius Gleason returned an interception 45 yards for Northern's TD.

Stevenson 37, Detroit Pershing 6

Stevenson dominated throughout, building a 17-0 lead in the first half on a couple of touchdowns by tailback Michael Tennessee and a 33-yard field goal by junior Tim Karagiannis. Tennessee and Kurt Hunsanger combined for 185 yards in the first half. The Titans led, 37-0, following scoring runs by junior Phil Russo (five-yards) and junior Rod Hunsanger(11 yards).

Utica 27, L'Anse Creuse 20

Senior running back Doc Trumble had 15 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown for Utica. Quarterback Jim Monroe had two TDs for L'Anse Creuse.

Week 2:
Chippewa Valley 24, Port Huron Northern 3

Senior wideout Nick DeGraw kicked a 48-yard field goal and caught two passes for 15 yards for Chippewa Valley (2-0, 1-0). Senior halfback Ryan Wagner rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. Senior halfback Brett Pfefferman added another touchdown and 109 yards rushing on 13 carries. Northern is 0-2, 0-1.

Ford 41, Utica 7

Senior quarterback Craig Krenzel passed for 261 yards and three touchdowns; rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown on six carries; and returned an interception 70 yards for a score. Sophomore Greg Oliverio added two TDs for Ford (2-0, 1-0). Doc Trumble scored on a 33-yard run for Utica (1-1, 0-1).

Stevenson 36, Roseville 7

Michael Tennessee scored on runs of four and 43 yards, and Rod Hunsanger scored on runs of 65 and 12 yards for Stevenson (2-0).

Fraser 35, Eisenhower 28

Jim Sorgi, one of the state's top quarterbacks, made the big plays offensively and defensively for Fraser, which nearly let a 21-point lead evaporate Saturday but held for a 35-28 victory over Utica Eisenhower in a Macomb Area Conference crossover game.

Week 3:
Chippewa Valley 45, Utica 14

Senior tailback Ryan Wagner had 17 carries for121 yards and one rushing touchdown and caught three TD passes from junior Jim Deliz for Chippewa Valley (3-0, 2-0). Senior wide receiver Mario Locricchio caught two TD passes of 31 and 26 yards.

Stevenson 30, Port Huron Northern 14

Senior tailback Michael Tennessee rushed for 310 yards and touchdowns of 1, 3, and 46 yards on 25 carries to lift Stevenson (3-0,1-0). Senior Kevin Kemp scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak for Northern (0-3, 0-2).

Eisenhower 26, Ford 8

Senior running back Vince Tucker scored on a 22-yard run, and junior quarterback Brian Gnyp was 11-of-15 passing for 129 yards and two touchdown passes to power Utica Eisenhower (2-1, 1-0).

Week 4:
Eisenhower 24, Utica 8

Larry Davis scored two touchdowns, and Vince Tucker caught a 10-yard TD pass from Brian Gnyp for Eisenhower (3-1, 2-0). Mike Gruzwalski kicked a 22-yard field goal for Eisenhower. Thomas Schneemann scored on a 32-yard run for Utica (1-3, 0-2).

Ford 14, Port Huron Northern 12

Senior quarterback Craig Krenzel threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns for Ford (2-2, 1-1). Ryan Zak caught a four-yard pass for the winning touchdown. Scott Albert returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown, and Jason Clark scored on a 24-yard pass from Kevin Kemp for Northern (0-4, 0-3).

Chippewa Valley 27, Sterling Heights 12

Ryan Wagner had 21 carries for 137 yards and scored on a 49-yard run for Chippewa run, and Mario Locricchio caught a 10-yard TD pass from Jim Deliz. Brandon Marshall hit Mike Lichocki for a 12-yard TD pass for Sterling Heights (2-2).

Stevenson 41, Warren Mott 14

Senior running back Michael Tennessee scored two touchdowns, and Kurt Hunsanger tossed a 56-yard scoring pass to senior David Dunlap for Stevenson (4-0). Mott is 1-3.

Week 5:
Stenson 48, Chippewa Valley 38

Michael Tennessee ran for a school-record 444 yards and five touchdowns on 34 carries Friday night to spark Stevenson to a 48-38 victory over host Mt. Clemens Chippewa Valley in a battle of unbeatens.

Utica 34, Dakota 28

Senior Doc Trumble picked up 236 yards on 31 carries and sophomore quarterback Brad Leach rushed for two scores and passed for two more for Utica (2-3). Junior quarterback Tony Wojciehowski passed for 201 yards and and three touchdowns for Dakota (2-3).

Port Huron Northern 27, Eisenhower 25

Senior quarterback Kevin Kemp completed 11 of 19 for 144 yards and touchdowns of eight and 13 yards to lead Northern (1-4, 1-3). Junior quarterback Bryan Gnyp (25-of-52, 323 yards) threw for scores of 82 and 81 yards to senior wide receiver Chris Massano, who made 12 catches for 211 yards. Gnyp also threw a third TD pass.

Ford 22, Grosse Pointe North 12

Quarterback Craig Krenzel completed 11-of-14 passes for 221 yards and threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Resmer and 43-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Dimeo in the first half for Ford (4-1). Paul Valencia rushed for one touchdown and 107 yards for North (4-1).

Michael Tennessee scored on runs of 73 yards and one yard, and Kurt Huntsinger threw three touchdown passes for Stevenson (8-0, 4-0). Doc Trumbull scored on a one-yard run for Utica (3-5).

Eisenhower 44, East Detroit 8

Nick Jozefiak rushed for 162 yards and scored three touchdowns as he helped his Eisenhower Eagles cruise on by the Shamrocks.

Ford 62, Chippewa Valley 34

Senior quarterback Craig Krenzel passed for 418 yards (23-of-43) and threw for seven TDs and rushed for another for Utica Ford (5-3). Ford amassed 606 yards on offense. Mario Loccrio passed for 205 yards (10-of-24) and threw three touchdown passes for Chippewa Valley (5-3).

Week 9:
Utica 26, Romeo 7

Grosse Pointe South 15, Eisenhower 12

Senior wide receiver Jeremy Linne blocked a punt for a safety and caught an 80-yard touchdown pass for South (6-3). Senior Dan Griesbaum scored on a 22-yard pass with 2:20 left in the game, and senior defensive back Paul Lochirco intercepted a pass with 35 seconds left to seal the victory. Junior quarterback Bryan Gnyp passed for 237 yards and a touchdown for Eisenhower (5-4).

Fraser 29, Ford 13

Port Huron Northern 55, Marysville 0

Senior quarterback Kevin Kemp ran for two touchdowns and passed for another to lead Northern (5-4). Charles Trask rushed for 147 yards on 12 carries. Marysville is 5-4.
