It was a good day fishing but
a bad day for personal items. We had been fishing for about 2 hours and
had caught a Laker, two Coho and a Brown. For some unknown reason I reached
for my back pocket only to find my wallet gone. After a careful search
of the boat, no wallet could be found. Only one conclusion could be had,
the wallet had come out of the pocket while sitting on the side of the
boat. Steamed about that one for awhile. Then
we were pulling in a nice Laker and as I leaned over the side to net the
fish, my cigs fell out of my shirt pocket. On reaching for them a little
farther than I should have, my nice engraved Zippo lighter fell into the
drink. As I watched it sink to the bottom, I netted the fish and cigs.
Nice 4 pounder, wet cigs.
Lesson learned, don't carry
anything in the pockets that can fall out cause it will. Even though I
lost a couple items, I didn't give up fishing. So if your out there in
the big lake trolling around and you happen to snag my wallet, let me know.
