I will try to provide the basic techniques to get you started. With a little luck, some viewers of this site will lend some of there advice on ways of fishing Lake Superior. As most would know, different locations almost always require different techniques. Different times of the year, weather, lake conditions, boat speed and type of lure also play into the formula. But for now, just the basic equipment, lures, and rigging.
I know, I know.......I almost forgot (smile), just about every fisherman whether it be Lake Superior, a river, small lake, stream or pond, fishing for bass, trout, walleye, salmon and many other species, on fresh water or salt water will each in their own right have a different viewpoint. That though is the greatness of fishing and learning from others. If you agree or disagree with the information contained here, please feel free to contact me and lend me your knowledge on the subject. Even if you would like to see something added or improved on I would appreciate hearing from you. In any event, I hope that what is provided here will give the beginner a place to start and the ones with a little experience a broader knowledge.
I would not consider
myself to be an expert or a professional but more or less an intermediate.
The purpose remains the same, to help others and myself gain more knowledge
and information through sharing the wealth of knowledge and information
that's out there. As always contributions, suggestions, and help in any
form will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
