The whispers of the heart
are sometimes foolish.
They steer me wrong at times,
I must confess,
for my heart has never tried
to follow logic;
but I trust it simply knows
what I need best.
The whispers of my heart
say it's forever,
this love that I have felt
right from the start,
and tells me
we were meant to be together.
I only hope you hear
the whispers of my heart.
