Goal #5 Objective C
Objective C:
Without the use of the course text or class notes, the student will identify sources of information in investigative reconstruction.
Previously, the primary sources of investigative information was identified as:
- people
- physical evidence
- records
people -
People help the investigator reconstruct the scene by sharing what they
witnessed or their expertise.
The careful investigator will exploit all human sources of information relevant to
the case.
physical evidence -
The forensic sciences assist the investigator in identifying and comparing physical
evidence with reasonable certainty.
records -
Modern society relies on data collected daily on each of us. This data is
collected and then stored. The investigator can use record information to check
the validity of alibis and other contentions by victims, witnesses and suspects.
